wicked sketchbook pages!...
Awesome, awesome, awesome. Plz keep posting, man.
Thanks you for the awesome slap in the face!!!
wilkerson: yeah, you're right, I wanted to work some more on it but I had to rush the thing to the photo shop to get it printed out in time. : /
algenpfleger: haha, it's a NO U duel then : )
Josef K.: Thanks! Hope that these don't dissapoint then : )
archipelago: in due time, in due time : )
wookiedabo, Creatinity, Gumbercules: Thank you!
So! First up, a couple of open canvas sessions with archipelago. Followed by a run cycle test.
Somewhere in the back of my mind I'm still thinking about creating indie platformers. Sort of want to study programming but it's a huge taunting task and I could always team up with someone.. and animation. Must get a book on that.
The rest are speedpaintings from today, I got into somekind of a rapidfire painting mood. Funny when that happens.

wow I can't believe I haven't found your sketchbook yet. it's really spectacular. especially the black and white line stuff.
this one shows a really unique voice. as does the piece after with the dreaming ghost in the clouds.
i think that if you put the same amount of attention into your digital stuff it would easily out-shine ur pencils. I like the pencil work but it doesnt scream "new and exciting" to me. I understand the amount of work you give them but it probably wont set you apart from some of the other artists that work in similar styles. I think that you have the potential to have a truly unique voice and I am starting to see it in some of the digital stuff. It just needs fine tuning
aww man.. There you go again. Simply awesome.
You've get a cool sketchbook, but I just wanted to point out on your animation you have his arms following the same side leg when his arms should be following the opposite leg. keep up the good work, it all comes with practice

waiting there for you with love
roidvoid: thank you for your input, I'll contemplate on it
Just Call Me Bruce!: Ah shit! I should have noticed that : O so embarrassing! : O
I've been busybusybusy, took part in a Baltic comics exhibition in Riga and some other stuff, maybe things will calm down now and I can get back to drawing once more.
Bigass work, my firend!! I love your pencils so much, same with the recent digitals! Keep rocking, mate!!
love your sketchbookpages. really good contrasts you have in you pencils.
and I like the soldier a lot.
last one has great colors, I just think his left arm looks a bit awkward. maybe it's just a bit too far back because to me his whole body position is more in a profile view. maybe it's just the shoulder stretched too much..
great updates, man!
You are one talented artist. I love your pencil sketches especially. The last one with the old man is amazing. Such a crazy amount of good work you keep producing. Rock on dude!
