here i got a monster painting i whipped up quick as a daily excercise. i wasn't evven going for any specific idea, all i thought of was some fucked up looking thing to paint.
this time i messeed around with textures.
It is a comical looking thing, but if you want to go about making a creature or monster, have a think about how it would move and what its purpose would be. Otherwise you will get a pretty much useless looking monster. I would at least like to see some form of feet and not just a pair of stumps.
Take a little more time on your next endevour.
true, he does appear non-believable in terms of function.
next time i'll make something that makes more sense, but this was just to get the gist of the brushes in PS, it is simpler and you can do quite alot compared to painter, but painter has twice the brushes with their own unique feel and texture for different painting styles.
as someone else has said either program is good for certain things.
