nice colors ashton makes me want fruit mentos
wow hymire thats incredible. really great piece!
sunny - that bee looks like one shady fellow, running around with that hot barbie deer (get it- barbie deer? lame)
so this is my first little wip doodle - sketched it up while browsing the forums, anyone else ever find that a lot of time IE won't open pages in the forums, for no conciveable reason?
I like playign with the idea of the bee as a hobo cast away sort of role, playing the harmonica from the back of the far more serious and stoic woodland protector - i guess in retrospect it's very "last unicorn" of me - except not a unicorn and a butterfly -

hahaha this topics are too much fun
my b33 is so awsome
Nice b33 Pluis.
OMG, what a weird theme...
freaky results all around XD
Sunny had me laughing
lol im happy it made you laugh ios, it is a strange topic. Im not too used to drawing women characters so i thought it was an ok sketch
uhh quick one + forgot bee buddy UHH I GOTTA GO!
Anyone tips for colouring in Photoshop? I'm a beginner.
Ahston: Great use of colours! It's a bit strange though...
Knight Vision: Did you draw that with the hand? Just curious. Nice drawing!
Hymire: Incredible! I don't see a woman face, but it's still good work!
Sunny: LOL! The bee is the pimp and the deer the dumb blonde. Great work on the bee. However, there's something wrong with the anatomy of the deer, it doesn't seem balanced.
Vennemunon: Just a sketch, all I can say that it's a nice idea. Are you going to post the finished one?
hqk~: That's original! Good work, but I would like some colour.
Pluizje: Goede tekening ! Do you have a sketchbook? You should make one!
Tommoy: Very creative! I am jealous about people who are so creative with PS/Painter or whatever program you used.
Guggenmaneuver: Surrealistic, I like it.
B-Man: Great drawing work! Nice b33, too.
Ios: Very original! Made me laugh.
Divorce: Dangerous to draw all those bones, everyone can see the anatomy problems. It has turned out good, but the neck is a bit too long I think...

Aaargh I lack at many points both coloring and anathomy... Any way this is what I managed to do...And also I think problem is with photobucket all my posts turns out to be smaller than they are, when I put them on photobucket.

As far as tips? There are probably alot of good resources online, but I've been finding some great tips in ImagineFX magazine. http://www.imaginefx.com/
I would be careful about outlining your deer/woman in a thick uniform black line. If you don't have one, get a Wacom tablet so you can use pressure to make lines waver from thick to thin. Also try using other color lines, like dark brown.
lemur: I've never used photobucket, but I have had good luck with ImageShack.

Ashton: Great use of colours! It's a bit strange though...
// granted its strange, but how perspective or idea?
I know her front leg is not correct. But looking up
from the bottom of a cliff at a spring bock with a womens
head had me stumped.
Dont use color untill you have finished a solid value drawing. Then
use color to push aspects further from the values. Avoid using pure
black or white. Lighting is the key outside.
Hamsta I like yours, in fact the last few have been engaging.
Sunny that bee looks like a phallic symbol!

Nice turn out guys.
Jeff Jones was advised "No piece of art is ever a failure, because you never come away with less than you started with. ''
because i ca and had a good time with my piece, i'm going to go through and give each of you some thoughts on your pieces. at this point you should say, "awwww thanks gug." not necessary... like i said, i'm feeling generous
ashton: cool mix of colors, subject to small. thanks for the action.
reaxion: submit something!
knight vision: bee could've used a little more development, and reference on the legs would have given the lovely doe a more solid foundation. good color scheme.
hymire: impressive range of values and excellent comp / expression. face more femme preferrably and some clarification on what's happening on top of her head would be awesome. antlers? girl-deer, what? front legs a little wonky.
sunny: nice! hands and doe face need a little work however for this to work as an illustration. thanks for the nipples—>happy gug.
venneumon: develop further then we'll talk. good start though
hqk~: nice sense of weight in your piece, for presentations sake though, try to crop off the rings of your notebook. it's the strongest visual part of your page, speaking in a design sense.
Pluizje: cute and well proportioned girl-deer, dear. Have you seen entdroids work on ca? I think you'd like it! the bee is soooo cute!
tommoy: adorable! def. a solid rendering, although the color scheme is a little too high end. Great development on both characters!
guggenmaneuver: I think your art would be better if you blinded yourself with battery acid. Get a life, but more importantly, QUIT TRYING to be an artist you pathetic, rancid dollop of amoeba feces! LOSER!
B-Man Very, very nice and clean! interaction between the pair would have been nice though
ios: I like her face, but the doe seems like an afterthought. kind of eyore-ish vibe, but she has a cute face / neat haircut. keep on keepin on.
divorce: looks like a case of the dead to me. Clean up the angles and image in general. graphically promising vision however
daroy i guess the deer is a babe? having her look at bee-freak would've been cool. good, quick environment too... i could have done some of that. thanks for the compliment!
lemur: Nice! wish it were larger, i'd love to see the details. and the color scheme is pretty nice too! Use another non-photobucket site for you r hosting: long story but i know what i'm talking about.
futureprobe: nice ambience, but teh doegurl and the bee could use some more interaction and more imaginative concepting. love the environment.
tmyohlaing: cute alien dear! like the colors. needs more work, possibly reference for some parts. the bee's grey stripes don't work. nice saturated palette!
invinciblewombat: cool sketch, but the dotted line should be a little more graphic and the antlers need some work. believable stance on the deer's pose! good job!
hamsta: nice enviro, subjects being larger and described better would be good. cheers!
blue tiger: looked better as a sketch. sketch is more effective and believable.
nii: my favorite so far, love the interaction, the intrigue, the color scheme! good development on both characters... doegurl is really really cute!
johnny dark: nice action and subdued color scheme... bee needs development however.
hope this helps yall out!
got burned out before i even got to the bee

*waves* My first daily sketch. I got a new sketchbook after many years and decided to break it in today. (I was previously using copy paper, which may be cheaper but it's a lot messier unless you're an incredibly organised person.)
Really freaky and cool work by everyone so far. O___O
*creeps off to bed*
