Here's some new stuff:

Some sketches for COW 79 Lava Swimmer.

Goblin Highwayman. Pretty old actually, but I still like it somehow.

Some concepts for a nucleair Steampowered locomotive for the CGchallenge: the journey begins. Never finished it however

Industrial Design sketch.

Lots of cool machine designs. The industrial designs are obviously the most finished and refined, but Orc stonethrower is my favorite posted so far. I always think the ones with interlocking bits and guts are the most interesting ones.

I agree with Crostar. The machines are by far the coolest Ive seen. I also like the Goblin and the robot on your first post. Cant wait for more. Also welcome the Sketchbook forum.

Here's some more. I should spent more time in this section

Most of those sketches are for the COW activity.

Something to consider on the toned paper drawings- it is super easy to get lured into using too much white, and it tends to make the drawing look amateurish (not just yours, anytime there's excessive white). Like, the highest value should be reserved for highlights, and the tone of the paper is already relatively light, so when you put that much white its like HIGHLIGHTS EVERYWHERE YAHHH. So yeah, just consider using it a little more judiciously.

the marker stuff and the ink creature drawings are a lot of fun. I really like the creatures.

McLean: Thanks for the comment, it's really helpfull. I often stop with the sketches at a point where I can judge whether I like it or not and where I can start putting in some color (with markers or otherwise) but it might be a good thing to shade them some more before moving on. A pencil might be a better medium for this than the fineliners I use though

Here's a couple of new one's (and one old one)

The more worked out version of a small thumbnail as seen in my last post:

A robot done during lesson in which the students had to draw..well, robots .
It misses a real focuspoint due to overdetailing of areas and the shadows could have been a bit more dramatic than they are.

Old one, perspective is a bit off here and there and the design itself is a weak version of a Ford Mustang, but I still like it.
Edit: hmm forgot to say it's actually a vacuumcleaner but where the hose connects is anybodies guess.

These are some awesome designs you have here. Do you have any interior designs for the vehicles? It would be cool to see how you visualize the inside, especially the last one.

Dabaers: hehe I forgot to mention that the last one is a vacuumcleaner (it's a lesson in the third year drawing classes at our university). It actually doesn't really look like one I suppose Still, some interior designs could be cool yes.

Seedling: Yep I like using the traditional tools although I should practice digital art a bit more I guess.

Seaport: Thanks, I'll post some more soon. Right now actually

Asoir: The benefit of doing Industrial Design I guess. Thanks for stopping by.

Small update, did this one today while I should've done something else

Done from a photo I found on the web, took me about 1.5 hours. I should do more of these I think, I really enjoyed doing it.

Dose206, TheGnoll: Thanks

Ped454: Thanks, that's where I hope to be in a couple of years yes

Here's some new ones, from my vacuumcleaner-period I'm afraid. I liked drawing these since they have endless possibilities as far as design goes No serious its a lesson we give third-year students and I kinda liked doing these.

Haha yeah thats true. It wasn't ment to be practical I guess (since it'll never be made anyway). I was inspired by a book about classic cars with some really nice photos in it.

WOW!

I like your stile.

Looks a bit like the old da Vinci scetches. You're using Ink??? I started also with ink and like the results. Even if you just scatch tt looks really intersting.
