So hi! I'm David from Croatia, 18yo and I'm starting for real, I fiddled with drawing since I was 15, but I've never really tried to learn it.
I'mma be posting my crap here and work my way up. I draw every day, in fact, that's all I do all day since I started.
Like Feng Zhu said, there's no balance, either you do it 24/7 or you won't make it. Well, I'm gonna make sure I make it.
My main inspiration are people like Maciej Kuciara, Kekai Kotaki, Feng Zhu, Noah Bradley, etc. and that type of work is what I want to create. So basically, concept art for games/movies, mostly environments but I also want to do people in those environments.
Also, I have strong photography and 3D CG skills so composition and lighting theory are already there.
So, I'm just gonna post this first sketch here, gesture drawing, there will be more later when I get my scanner running.
Even though I suck a lot (of course), I'm starting to surprise myself these days, I'm improving a lot because I actually try to learn and study stuff
Done in Photoshop with Wacom Bamboo Fun. This is supposed to be a girl. Yeah, a girls with no breasts, I failed too hard so I erased them

As I said, there'll be more. I started the 100 gestural drawing challenge so I hope to upload tomorrow at least 10 of 'em.
And I always tend to draw girls with wider shoulders than hips which is so wrong.. I'll work on that too.
Thanks, see ya..
