Hello all, I'm starting a new thread dedicated specifically to light and color experiments (obviously the reason for the title). I can paint pretty well traditionally,so I've recently been messing around with applying my strokes and color mixing techniques that I use with real paint digitally. I'm starting to get the hang of it...I think
Here's a guy I painted using photoshop, painting at 25% the size, about an hour, ref used.
I need to be more adventurous with my color.... but here's the original.
I think I like the b&w version better. I was actually surprised how well my values worked after I painted using color...

I love how messy they look!
