This Spring Quarter at LAAFA, students in the Sessions/Extension Program will have the opportunity to study with leading artistic anatomist Rey Bustos.
Rey will be teaching Drawing the Figure on Fridays starting April 13, and Ecorche'/ 3D Anatomy on Sundays.
In Rey's Ecorche' class, students master the complexities of human anatomy via a hands-on approach. Students construct a clay model of the human skeleton and musculature on wire armature. This 3D understanding of the human form translates into improved realism and fluidity in students' 2D artwork.
