that girl sketch is awesome man! i find the form in the area around the hips a little weird, but the face and the style overall is fucking sweet
The chick on the couch with the magic pen is hott!
But my favourite piece is still the skyrider! Finish ittt!.... please ^^
(and thank you for stopping by )
santal...Hey! thanks for the kind words!
Well CA is a huge fluffy ball of inspiration, really, when i'm not feelin it i'm
checkin out some sketchbooks or finished stuff. Music is always a big
inspiration too. Also books....e.g. for conceptart check out "the skillful
huntsman".....it really motivates you to get a concept right from start to
wi2rd...It's a pleasure! thanks!
strybjorn...Thanks a lot. Yeah it's getting a bit mushy down there I'll
fix that. Thanks
blexano...HEy buddy what's up! Yeah I'm going to finish it....but after the portfolio review with jason and john i rescheduled my priorities a bit.
please bear with me on this one.!
mike butkus....Thanks a lot mike!
RokasButkys....Great to here that, i love black and white..hehe, thanks!
cakeypigdog....hey man! great to have you here, following your work quite some time now, love your style!
Flaskpost...Hey Brother Lars !! hehe......I'll keep them comin!!! Yeahhh!
So i really concentrate more on character design, since i need more sophisticated char stuff in my portfolio....to get where i wanna be, and the jobs a i would love to do! So here are some more or less rough designs (no ref) and sketch stuff, thumbs... , i intend to finish the chars to an industry worthy level and make alot more of them..........also flipped through my Hogarth yesterday, just going through the pages helped a lot again!....hope you like em.!

wow some very original design here! I love that airplane riding dude! Some of your BW sketches have nice punch, but I think you lose a wee bit of energy when coloring them...
towy...thanks a lot
Holland.....Glad you like the chars, stick around for more!!
Janos.....thanks and you are right about the chars, they are all in the rough stage..For the next week one of my tasks is to have at least two of them developed and finished.
Hideyoshi......Hey man! thanks for checking by....love your stuff!. Yeah you're totally right about my coloring problem, i tend to work too much on some pieces due to color insecurity, but even if i loose some of the freshness of my sketches I learn a lot from each piece....and for now i have to live with it..hehe....but not for long hopefully!!!!
Ok here is an enviroment....not finished but mainly done. i spend about 2 hours on it and this is my first truly colored enviro after a long time. I had so much fun doing it and playing around with some new brushes, so hope you like it!
very nice updates, dude! this last one, i think you should push the values a bit further, to separate foreground, middleground and background more. darker, more contrast in the foreground! lighter values, less contrast in the background! turn it to grayscale, and youīll see it looks a bit flat value-wise. looking good so far, with the composition and the color temperature. just fix those values.
I love the greyscale characters. They have alot of attitude!

I really admire the effectiveness of your marks, and how much mileage you get from those. One thing that jumped out at me was the dragon's neck, it a little disjointed. Maybe have the curve swing back towards the guards, adding a bit more tension, but maybe that's not what you want. Hope this helps!
awwwwesome updates. i missed about 3. your really improving man.
