more master studies
kathe kollwitz study
i apologize about the quality and the annoying sizes of some of the images. anyways more terrible life drawing and master studies.
geez those life studies are awful
it's weird, some of the stuff looks really good, and then some just fail totally in the sense of proportions and so on - most of the later stuff is good though, and then the hands/feet are interesting, and well done.
you really should train that hand with the camera though, and probably get a better light source (hopefully not a flash).
Can't really comment much on the studies, as they are sharper then mine, but I would like to see an expansion towards more of your own stuff - still keep it going

splendid drawings and great progress, keep it up
my favorite sketch
oh awesome thanks for replying guys
dan liimatta - cheers dude, yeah i know what you mean theres not really a consistency between the drawings some are absolute balls, others are better
the word intresting scares me a little, its like a teacher grabbing hold of your work and saying yeah its got potential, desperately looking fishing for something good to say about it.
yeah sorry about the camera shots on one of the posts the camera battery was dieing on me, yeah but i think mostly just laziness.
what you think i should drop the master studies, although i was enjoying them, okey dokey i'll study more from life. thankyou
mrpank- cheers yeah a couple of hours with a biro, any ideas for drawing exercises?
no, do both
It might just be me, but I try to change subject once per day, today I was going to try to be clear and hand fast, and it was a short day - so I only managed a little (results over at the SB), yesterday was a day for details of the character, the day before that it was poses, the day before that colours etc - tomorrow is an other concept day for me, with some master studies added if I have time.
I'm no teacher, nor do I have one - but I read somewhere that focus is good, but focusing on different things is better ~ for example I focus on mass drawing some days, line drawing on other days, anatomy one day, flow the other.
a tip for more visitors, and more replies - walk around over the SB's and give some asspats if the SB pwns your own effort, some critique if it's possible, and a helping hand if they struggle. I try to have a good ratio myself, and will post in others SBs to pay back, while also having fun.

some michelangelo studies among other artists i love the fluidity of his drawings really enjoyable to work from.
getting into landscape sketching now, i like the fact that there slightly cruder then my previous work, which usual focused on a single item or figure.
a little simple maybe a combination of figures and scenes might be the next step i guess.
just some adobe illustrator stuff
just curious how to start a new page or does it do that once i filled enough, or enough replies, the long download times kinda bugging me. anyways more dribble sketches
A new page starts depending on your personal settings under 'user cp'. You can set the number of posts it will display before starting a new page, but only for you, no one else.
I think you're on the right track, so I don't have much to say. I'm guessing you don't have a scanner and you're taking pictures of your stuff. In that case, maybe use a tripod so the pictures won't come out blurry? It makes them hard to see.
number 6 - cheers thankyou, i guess that might be annoying people the large download so i'll get on that for the next post, yeah i apologise for the bad quality of the images, if i can't fit into the a4 scanner then i take a digital camera shot, if i use the flash then it tends to flatten everything or i get a glint or shine on the pencil marks, and my room is quite dark and gloomy, i think i'll just put up a4 peices for now until i find an alternative way of shotting larger peices of work.
