ThomasM: yeah, but when it all comes down to it is not pages in a sketchbook. it's how much time you're willing to dedicate to learn or progress. recently i've had a break from hardcore art. but i think we all need that to reboot our passions. and what better way than to play some video games. or read, or stare at hot ladies all day! ha ha!
teapo: thanks, my friend. yes i am keeping busy!
Giving me a kick in the pants, keep it going
Just have fun.
Thanks for visiting my book Mr Gamer. Is good in here man. You're the pen master, love the faces in #1529. See you around ca.org
yey people! keep it up matt! go go go!
Aveh: *kick* Ha ha! Thanks, it's not that hard to do. Just have to sacrifice leisure time for progression time.
Deodatus: thanks, i'm learning!
teapo: haha i wish. maybe. ;]
jigje: thanks, you too!
ryanoir: hmm.. jiggidy jiggidy jiggidy
Odayga: haha yay thanks!
This past week was a sabbatical of sorts, involving friends, Halo: Reach (Team Swat is so fun), Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (sweet artistic approach), Minecraft, relaxation, and learned a ton. It was a nice break with minimal painting, but now I can use that refreshing time to draw even harder now. Try it sometime! You'll thank yourself in the end and gain more inspiration! Just remember to come back to your true love once it's all done. Ha!

Free online game called Fold It that's insanely fun. Here's an exerpt from their web site, "Foldit is a revolutionary new computer game enabling you to contribute to important scientific research. This page describes the science behind Foldit and how your playing can help."
Add me as a buddy in the game. My username is "mattgamer", of course and here's my profile page.
The videos and the link are great! Thanks for those!
And great sketches as always
Amazing sketchbook you have here my friend, truly inspiring.
Luckers: you're welcome, thanks!
ryanoir: ryan is my hero! :]
Finished the 90 days in P90X and now onto Beachbody Insanity. Insanity is even more intense workout for 60 days. I can barely do a whole set now, but I know my stamina will grow as the weeks go by.
I'm doing this to see how far I can push myself and to feel great everyday by being in top shape and healthy. It's really a motivator and gives me tons of energy.
I wish more people would do this and shut up about how miserable their lives are. You make it as it is. Don't blame it on others or circumstances. You're the one who can change the tide today, if you've got it in you.
Before and after.
Now go draw, draw, draw!
Keep it up with the sketches!
SnobbyOo: ha ha very scary awesome! thanks.
Odayga: always will!
Found a picture on a TAD student's sketchbook to study. Tried to do this in 30 but took 45 minutes. With limited brush strokes and color pallet. Hard for me, but a learning process that I like.
I recently got the p90x. Still trying to force myself to do it...
Keep truckin man
Just have fun.
What the- not only are you getting beastly at drawing you're turning into a super hero too? INSPIRE +1000
Krato: lol, probably isn't a bored face. more like a tired face because that was my first Insanity day. also flexing can take a lot out of the face. hahaha! and no it's Bearmot! not snake! UGGHH!!!
Aveh: thanks! and you too!! do it everyday regardless of the time. one night i did Kempo X at 2am and loved it! also, do Kempo X Plus, it's so much more fun. GLADIATOR MOVE RULES!
Koto whoa! where have you been? you've been like gone for 12 years! i hope when i check your sketchbook that you've updated. if not, i'll have to cut off my new muscles, pack them on ice, and ship them to starving African children. ha ha, super hero? no way, i couldn't handle the psycho super girls.
30 Rock and Curb Your Enthusiasm are my new favorite shows. Starting from season 1 and on.
Bwhahah don't do that after you worked out so hard!! What's this P90X stuff anyway?
Popeye?! great sketch and photo , where was that taken? Looks like the sort of mood that would suit the aftermath of a battle!
Koto: it was taken a couple miles up a highway from my house. yeah there was a battle there. a battle of me fighting off the cold weather that i hate so much.
ryanoir: haha nipples are overrated anyways.
raminafshari: i use up all the paper and ink!
Films you should watch: In the Shadow of the Moon (2007) and I'm Still Here (2010).
You going to paint that enviro sketch? Get some digital on it!
Another great photo Looks like a good place to sit and contemplate life (and maybe do some drawing).
Bluepen sketches kick ass, as always. Me like.
Keep pushing your art aswell as you body. I do rock climbing and that help's with keeping my body tuned.
