wip, he thinks his wings are real, but we know they're not. mwahahahhahaa
his name is pancake.
Your ballpoint sketches are wicked--looking at other people's awesome sketchbooks makes me want to draw...and then realize that I suck because I haven't drawn in so long; it's a cycle
Hey, Matt lovin' the last two ball point sketches, keep up the good work!
wow i cant beleive i watched all of the makeup one... anyway like what you got goin on there , its the beginning of a cover for a bad christian rock band starring a white emo kid as lead singer.
probably will have some kind of drug problem, and him and the drummer always fight
Diggin' the updates fellow Matt, As always great sketches, (what sort of pen do you use? Just a normal Biro?).
Cool digital portrait up there too, but I'd like to see some more brushstrokes/texture though, but that's just me
Keep em' updates coming!

Yay for original characters!!
I really like your recent updates, and definitely love your digital work! That guy from post #727 is really interesting!
And those previous sketches are good too. Perhaps work more on proportions though? And how about trying out some wacky angles?
And do it more often!!
hey bro! I like pancake! His hands look weird though,I guess you will fix that. Makeup girl... Record yourself drawing and watch it it really helps with speeding up your work. you notice stuff you do that could be done different. CHeers dude, would be fun to do a collaboration on a pic sometime!

Kim_bot: get back into drawing! don't think about rating yourself against other artists. that's the place i used to let myself down (and still do somtimes). remember to rate yourself against yourself and never quit :] thanks!
Victor B: thank you, kind sir.
Flaskpost: no prob, thanks for leavin a note!
bebobmace: lol, silly story. maybe i'll change his hair to a fro. thanks!
JailHouseRock2: hmm i just use normal ballpoint blue pen. PaperMate kind. i feel the blue comes out smoother than the black and red is too light for me, but maybe i will experiment. thanks!
Kamikazebob: thanks, i'm only getting a LITTLE better
Dawn: thank you! you tooo!
Norris: aw thank you norris (are you related to chuck?)
BlackDelphin: mmm wacky angles! yes thank you!
B-Man: alright, good idea dude! thankssssss! and yess maybe someday collab would be good ;]
probably the most brilliant movie of my time. :]
ok did studies this weekend. the night study were hard because i wasn't home at night, but go what i got down. oh and day study was hard too because of limited daylight... though i'm workin with what i got.
these helped me with lighting, color, proportion, little perspective, sizing, and mood.
I'm impressed the still lifes look great!
those last two still lifes are really really really really good man!
Very nice studies Matt!
