i always wonder about the fate of all the little creatures you have in your sketchbook. i hope they make it back to the wild somehow....

that doesnt diminish my love for your art and photos

i really get the self deprecating, lonesomeness, and your alienation. I think some of the strongest stuff in here is when you are taking pictures of the women in your life. you seem like a nature photographer taking snapshots of a rare but dangerous wild animal.

You've got a great photography skill, all those macro shots of the scorpion, caterpillar, mould and so on are fantastic.

Wanimal, hmmm, thanks. Your bug collection is amazing. The Nazi sculptures are very sick and twisted and hope your GF likes having her photo up all the time. I read the posts on your 25 page sketch book and comments back, from 2005 to now, quite an evolution of opinions! You keep true to yourself and find the place inside that is the real artist that is trying to get out. And as I told you the painting of the fish is some kind of break through.Try to focus you are all over the map, you have all the separate components of a truly inspirational artist now put them all together into a concise body of work!! Reading through all of these comments surprises me. Most of these strike me as full of humor and very cute and some especially beautiful but y'all are acting like it's scary or creepy...I think that perspective is ridiculous.

agree that a lot of it looks like some kind of dry cynical type humor but some of his stuff is a bit on the creepy side.

you got skills boy, no doubt, and you have some really amazing (even some of the weird stuff) paintings and sketches...

seriously -I`m not squeamish in any way, and it really takes a LOT to make me turn away from an image (and I`ve seen shit in my life you can just thank sweet god you haven`t...), and I`m all for expressing oneself in any way one sees fit. honest.
I couldn`t care less.

I`m just musing over where CA is going to (and towards) with this here thread of yours, my friend. that`s all.

I know you specialise in stage design. I wish you'd talk a little about the technical side of that. I'd find it interesting, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Some of your stuff I love, some I admire for the technique, some goes right over my head, some......hmmmmm...... but I check out your sb pretty regularly.
