Hey guys. i was just thinking about my spending, and i think that about 70% of the money i have made in the last 2 months has gone towards my camera.
which lead me to thinking, i wonder what the BEST thing people have bought (FOR their camera (not including the camera) has been
for me, i'd have to say it was the UV filter. the number of times people jam their grubby fingers all over the lense even when you tell them 'if you even TOUCH the lense, i will kill you' is amazing. thank god for filters
anyway, what have you guys bought that you couldnt live without?
My camera-bag and of course my SD-cards
My tripod and lenses... (okay that is all I have but I couldn't abandon any of these) I don't have any filters because I heard that the quality will suffer with that.
Things I could not live without:
My camera and all the essential accessories, lens, bag, CF card
My mp3 player with usb host, to store my photos when travelling without a computer.
Things I could live without:
My flimsy tripod I bought cheap in Thailand
Things that I could live (better) with:
A new zoom lens to replace the kit lens
Some nice filters, polariser, gradient ND etc.
best stuff i ever got for my camera? Well my Epson 1290s A3 Photo printer. I got that for about 40 UK pounds because it was broken (i fixed it!!)
Second of all it would be the 2 X 2GB SD cards I got for next to nothing at all, I think they were 20 pounds each?
the main 2 are extra cf cards and batteries.
i got like 4 cf cards: 3 1gb and 1 2gb... cause i shoot a lot.
extra battery.. always have an extra battery,,, if u shoot a lot like i do.
that is a must..
a nice home for my gear.. i got the canon backpack for $30
50mm1.8 get one its cheap in price and its a really good lens. $75
I wanna have my own studio
Tripod and lens-cloth (I'm kinda balancing between the antistatic lens cloth and Lenspen)
