Lol I love your SB, Disco... alien creatures in oil drums, caffeine-induced scribblez, and very nice head 'n' figure studies! Diggin' that one-man-band... thing, and the fireflies pic -- yay fer gnomes!
*sigh* You have a better work ethic in honing those PS skillz than I... keep it up!
Look, see! Nifty art! http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=99803
Hey! Check out my blog here
jushra - thanks! crits are always welcome and helpful, oh yes...
Amon - thanks to you too! PS is like a lifestyle, all the crap you can do with it...I know almost nothing. I usually learn by experimenting...probably not the best way, but I never took any painting classes, and now I'm kicking myself. Yay!
Inks - the paint job I have in mind should make a man out of him. That, and when I fix the monkey-boy proportions on the captain guy, oh yes.
Trying to leave detail out, and save it for the foreground, and put it in with paints...dunno

I like your art. It has uniqueness to it
jdeegz - heh, it happens...trust me, it wouldn't be quite so confusing if it were being read from page 1 to 30 non-stop...there just wouldn't be enough time...
ped454 - thanks!
Did these today
One more installation after this should finish it off
messed with colors...going for like futuristic satyr...or something.
Don't think the text stuff is self-important; I was just trying to make it look at least a bit legit
Now that I look at it...I'll be uploading it again once I've fixed that shadow. Ugh.

Hey DS thanks for posting in my sb a while back
you really have a lot of great art here. the comics flow really smoothly.
yo, fourth leg on the raider, where? hahaha, i think your shadow would make more sense if the legs made more sense. and, the boy that is holding the rope, did he throw up on himself?
oh hey, do you have an AIM screen name so you can be like "hey are you drawing" so i wont stop.. i have such ADD...
pennington - thanks; always good to hear that my story-telling is readable, since my own brain is a pretty biases source
jdeegz - 4th leg is there, just in shadow, and raised...was a quickie anyway
And yep, that kid did soil himself; wouldn't you?

I've had an explosion of busybusy during the last couple weeks; I'll get that last bit up as soon as I can.
Some [messy-ass] gestures
REALLY like your work m8, the lines are SUPERB! Are you using PS when cleaning them up? and if so, are you using airbrush or some custom brush to clean them up?
Thanks Abee! I appreciate that.
When I scan the inks I bring the levels to just inside the "big-ass black humps," rather than outside; which cleans it up right nice; then I but a sharpen filter don't it(don't know if that actually does anything), and that's about it.

Crazy stuff, great style. More importantly an original line style, also you have a unique way of "weighting" the body frame. Cool stuff.
