Your techniques are so mind blowing. its difficult for me to even use your stuff as reference. your lighting and texture are so amazing. and your muscle structures i do not understand. you confuse the living hell out of me. like i try to draw something of yours and i get lost because im like, theres no way this is going to work. and i step back and it does. i just simply do not know. maybe im trying too hard or something.

anyway keep it up. i love it so much.

oh and ps, what was the song title in the video?

Wow, what a great range of values you manage to pull out of those pencils.

I'm impressed at your patience, I'm beginning to see that patience is the defining characteristic of great artists.
thanks

Whoa...I missed this last update? Might be because you forgot to change the date. The girl in the jacket (if that is a girl) looks really hot and should be finished. Also, the guy in the second posts is good but his arms look like he's on creatine aka steroids. Awesome job on that. I like the 3 girls on the right also, good line quality and use.

Keeo going with it.

Wow Dan, fucking awesome stuff happening here! Your faces are blowing me away man, and the design decisions on your characters are not only sensible but also gorgeous.

As a crit - this last Johny Bravo guy's face look a bit off, compared to you other faces it just doesn't do any justice. Other than that this book is fi-i-ine.

cheers man, keep posting .

Nice update. The first one is pretty good, though I have no idea what is going on on the left side. Lot of graphite in that one, heh. The second is good, like the lighting of the guy to the right and the nose on the floor (though not sure why a nose is on the floor). Good update and good poses. You've done a great job of making your poses more and more dynamic/appealing. Good to see you plugging away.

CHANGE THE DATE!

Does that guy have nipples for knees? Ingenious! What more can a man ask for?! This book just keeps getting better and better.

(On a serious note: Impeccable value structures and wonderful composing and placing of elements. The first is my favourite for its action and the complementing composition. Second is no worse, but we all know you can do that well . No crits this time round Danm'man.)

Very cool sketches mate! The abstract work on the first page looks good. Especially like the way you have done the head (The white eyes and mouth) lots of shape to it with the way you have used the values The second page looks great also, like how you have shown the light on the fabric over his left (viewers right) hand.

Cheers Mate

Dude, Daniel... you're way too good, man, waaay too good. It's funny but every time I sketch something on paper and make a mistake or rush something instead of paying attention to what I do, I remind myself of how you seem to put all those strokes on paper without the merest hint of insecurity. You know what you do, that's your strength. I'd give my left arm to see you work, dammit. So when you're visiting Europe, I'd love to invite you to a beer or two.

Dig the guy with the weird mask in 1092 most, he's creepy but in a way, quite heroic. The newest ones are great also, the scattered light on the grass behind the jumping guy is leaving a lot to imagination.

Man

your stuff is so good for me. It really helps me want to push my stuff to the absolute limit. I look at this stuff, and I go way backinto my sketchbooks to start rendering every single thing I ever drew.
