Hey there. i think there might be a few people concerned about bad topics or similar coming up, or getting no say in what the topic is. at the other end of the scale, coming up with a fresh topic idea each week is pretty difficult too. so this can be a suggested topic thread-a-mo thingo.

( you dont have to choose any of these when its your turn to choose, these are just incase you get stuck, or to look at a few to kick your thinking off, or whatever. )

I like the black and white and red over all idea, it reminds me of Grendel the graphic novel (if anyone wants to see it ill be happy to scan a page and post it)

the position of the book came but that doesnt matter, in this issue of grendel it features a graphic novel, and each like5 pages is made by another pers
on so there is a lot of variety, it's intersting this is one of my favorite pages.

Mind you the colors are brighter in real life.

The idea of a thread for "possible" topics is a great one! I have two additional thoughts:

• For those of us who are "newbies", how about a list of past topics -- to prevent potential duplication?
• What about a FAQ for how to manage a challenge from start, through poll, to finish from those "professionals" amongst us?

ok, well i guess we could easily set that up too. like one of the steps in the setting up the weeks comp, is to post the topic (and only the topic in a thread) which at the top also has a guide to setting up the weeks stuff. i'll try and begin one now

I thought of the seven deadly sins but that seems to be overdone in the art world. So how about the theme architypes of man vs man, man vs himself, man vs evil, man vs nature, man vs technology, man vs society, and the rest of them I couldn't think of. What do you think of that idea?

We are ppl from alot of different parts of the world and i think we have very different experiences ans so on when it comes to just evil.

I have one issue i want to put forth. Rigth now, when a tie occurs the Challenge is delayed by at leat one day.

Maybe it would be better if one of the Mods would choose the topic for each challenge?

i think that would be a bad idear, what the point of the chalange if u dont win anything?
one of the best rasons of the chalage is the fact that you get to chose the next one. I know why ur saying what u are, there have been some chalange topics whcih have lacked intrest because of the poor choise of topic. I still however do not think it right to take the wining prise away from the winner....
