Not sure if I posted all this before.. just some random bits.
Ow, I didn't notice someone had lodged their elbow in my head. Good to see you're still alive and kicking, and vomiting up new shit. Glove looks kickass, it'll be cool to see the suit that goes with it. Peace Britonnian
edit: though seriously mate, you've got a talent for making forms 3d just from linework, you redid the spaardude's face in that last post? Let me know if you want any crits.

Oh haha, the bottom one was a lifedrawing of a woman, she has a really harsh and interesting face though, quite fierce. I just re-drew it from memory and it looked like a guy so I accentuated it a little and went with it.
You should hit me up and let me know how its going mr severin =)
Got a little impatient with this, but I am going to work more on it, can't figure out how to make the colours really vibrate like sargent. hmm..

Damn. Amazing! thats the word to discribe how good you are. Thumbnails are awsome as well.
Chris was here..
Yahaaar I wish I had just one ounce of the talent you posses, still finding new details in the silhouettes every time I check your sketchbook.. *scuttles off* "I must work harder!!"
how have i missed you before? bery cool stuff on some of these pages. I loved the skull renders a few pages back. You might want to watch your far side of faces in relation to noses, maybe wort banging a few of them kinda studies out.
Also Fran mentioned London and how you might be able to put us up for the night (I'm Kyle). IF so that would be awesome and thanks in advance.
cheers! (subscribed btw)

I'm not dead. Yay!
Any advice on scanning/editing pencil scans would be lovely. x
well, I'll give it to you, now you're undead. Cool shit man, keep up the juicy drawins. as far as scannin goes, uhm, depends on the scanner software, scanner, and all that. If you can adjust settings on the scanner, as long as you don't go too high contrast, it should pick up the subtle details, and then you can use levels or brightness contrast in ps to fix it a bit more, then maybe a slight unsharp mask if it's blurry from resizing or something. How's the land of gray skies and castles?
Awesome dude, these are very nice. Keep em coming.
Awesome update man! Glad to see some new stuff. I love these characters, they feel weighty, and the forms are solid! I dig the pants and boots on the first guy, neat costume. All your feet/boots are so good, the feel like they're really standing on ground, which is tough to do. What are these for?
By the way, the first guy's left arm is a bit strange, it doesn't feel like it's on his body, the upper arm seems separate from his torso and his lower arm feels like it's popping out from somewhere else. Also, I'd work on your folds/frabic a bit, these characters would look so much cooler with interesting folds and tensions.
As for scanning, if the DPI is high then you should get all the detail, I think 150 is good enough for my needs. If I edit the scans, I usually try to make them look as much like the real page if possible.
Looks like you had fun with these, keep it up!
