I second what JakehC saidXD by the way, how long do you spend doing studies? What makes you say this ones done? Was just wondering, I usually do different time limits for studies, but my main problem is in rendering, or blending in general. I guess I should take some time and finish a few lol.

Hey Meteorcat, well it really depends, actually I don't use any reference at all in my personal work. The exception in this piece is her hand for which I took a shitty cellphoneshot of my own hand. But usually I try to have everything covered by doing studies before I even start a piece so that I don't need to pull up any photos for the actual painting But if it happens that I do need a photo I just use them as I go really no specific time in the process
Zipfelzeus- haha thanks man, well then start losing it I guess, I got NOTHING
Hi Guys, I just want to throw in a personal Illustration I've been playing with for the last few days, hope you like it
Sooo lovely purrrrrfect
Damn it man! I love your updates on facebook! Your work is absolutely amazing.
Is that charcoal or graphite you're using for the portrait studies? They look so damn alive ^^. I love the texture that you get with the pencil work.
"A man chooses. A slave obeys."
mrkolsyrad - thanks man I use 0.3mm mechanical pencils for those !
lewiston - thank youuu
meteorcat - thanks man ugh hard question really I just try to think about the form of the thing I'm painting and try to keep the lighting consistent throughout the entire picture. painting from photos and from life really helps getting a feeling for that
aaand some more stuff, this time some "pure" character conceptart, huge huge fun
This looks so doge.
A few of the recent pieces I haven't seen... Silly facebook filtering
If I had to describe your work with one word it would definitely be SPIKES. Makes everything look good ha
More pencil pages please! Thanks for sharing!
