okie dokie, some stuff from the sketchbook, couple of digis i havent finished yet...but i will finish!
the color study screencap i didnt get to finish cause photoshop crahsed, and another WIP colorstudy. no opacity round brush, shits hard but fun.
oh and a souvenir cast i bought from caesar's palace, painted it white with a flat white testor's model paint and stuck in my life drawing box. I figure it might not have been the best cast to start with but i bought it and painted it already so might as well. Anyway, i have a lot of erasing to do with that study so far. we'll see how it goes!

You've been busy, you loud girl! Great job so far, i love the pigbutt!
Those two digital charactoids look good. I like that blue color, the light from that ghost creature, and the little bubble like texture surrounding the guy. I think you're rushing in too soon with the rendering on that cast drawing. I suppose the drawing can be started anyway you want, but generally I've seen it done by first getting the contours of the silhohuette by indicating their general angles, then getting the shadow shapes in a similar fashion, a 2D approach. At that point all the lines are straight, then only after the proportions and shapes are right you design in the curves, deciding what to leave straight and what to make curved. It might be easier to do only a portion of the cast? I think a lot of the cast drawing process is tedious.

The title got me. MGMT, oh yeah, I didn't even have to look at the pictures
to know this sb is brilliant.
Kidding aside, the landscape studies are cool.
Look up the 'Squinting' technique if you're not in the know.

Daaaaaawn! those faces are turnin out pretty tite. Girl with the bat thing turnin out pretty good, though it looks like she's hunching her neck forward, gettin ready for whack-a-mole or something. Keep on the life shit, don't let it talk back. It might help to set up some cool ass stuff you can leave around for a while so you don't mind coming back to it later. It's twice as fun coming back to something and realizing you're a moron for how you drew it Heheh enough lame advice, keep drawing cool shit!
