Great to meet you in dallas Dished, you q t pie!
Cool sketches in here mate. Liking that colour thing on the start of this page. the work in blue is realgood and I like the general design of the creature. Think you should try and get in some more obs drawings, and try and mingle that into your style. Good work though, keep at it^¨
helioth- hey sam! it was awesome meeting you too!

Just wanted to finish this before I went to sleep, and another monster dude thing im working on..
time to wipe the drool and snot from the tablet and hit the sack!
That monster looks pretty awesome. Like its from a video game.
i don't know if you are doing it on purpose or not,
but your last post has really, REALLY light greys.
try this monitor testing images and follow the instructions.
if you are meaning to have really faint greys in your
images, then my mistake and i love the monster dude.
the enviro is sweet stylized too!
Did a life drawing study today with my handy dandy still life box (made out of 3 11x14 sheets of white foamcore and masking tape.) Im not all too happy with it,but i learned a bit which makes it worth it for me. Alls it is is applying it for tomorrow's life study
(picture was a bit darker than the actual thing, I probably shouldve followed the planes on the picture though. That and maybe get amore opaque peice of cloth, cause it was thin so everything was real light )
aand some sketchbookpages:
more digis to come !
Mock- woot! thanks! or ill just stuff myself in one of your luggage bags when you go to sf

hahaha the kirby things are awesome. thumbs up for drawing passed out family members. Shadows on the cloth study are a bit bright, check out the photo, even with the reflected light the shadow is way darker than the cloth. keep killin it bata, always fun to see a ton o' your sketches.
That still life box is a great idea, and that study came out great. I'm going to have to construct one of those.
wooo dawny!! i'm gonna do this if i have any spare time too!
thanks for the inspirations!! your sketchbook is always a pleasure
to see. some of your heads are a little bit messed up in the
measurements, but you're still drawing! you'll figure out things
as you work it!
i wrote a long comment with love and stuff... it consisted of:
i need to make one of those
i like your characters
some of your faces are kind of messed up
they will eventually be fixed with more faces you draw
This drawing im working on, makes me feel like a kid again, with a box of crayolas and a lighter....
AikidoAl - Thank you!! haha yeah, that was my neice, it was near impossible to wake her up so i could have my bed back... hehe
John- Muahah! thanks LOLO! (ask your boss what that means )
pixelfluxa- thanks man! yeah its pretty handy
Jushra- Hey man! it was great meeting you too! thanks for stopping by :]
MattGamerrrr- hahhaha thanks buddy! yessir! moar referenced studies to come.keep killin it in your sb mang! Lurvve all around !
push those vales in your studies!!! really try to match them as best you can!!
also in you imagination work, really focus on a value range of the object you are rendering...u know...not giving everything the same value range from dark to light...and in your pencils...really push the darks with a ninja kick at the end. You'd be surprised what you can do with one more pass
aaaand just try to focus on getting a solid light source so that you can properly show cast shadows! I think cast shadows [and knowing where your terminating edge for shadows are...] are the most important part of showing three dimensional depth in an image...
Hey Dawn it was cool meeting ya at the workshop too! the sb is rockin face right now. just keep drawing and try to draw more from life! And I also noticed that your value range is light and should make those darks darker... anywho keep it up, laters
