beonznghn again more busy with working. I did a little livestream again... ~1hr of working.
you can watch the whole stream here: http://livestream.com/devinplatts If you do watch it, the real stream starts about 5 minutes in, after the technical difficulties were worked out.
or you can just get the dirty from this video:
Yes! thats video is golden!!! thats pretty cool how you turn off the core shadow after you establish it just to focus on the color scheme, good tip.
That new blue creature is sweeet!
Cool dawg dude , I love how you establish the lighting. I'll definitely check out that livestream.

some warm-up quickie sketches getting going before I start in on freelance work from the last couple days. I have a bunch of random crap doodles I need to sort through. keeping things organized between 2 different computers makes my OCD act up...
In a few weeks I will have more time to do more rendered personal works for those of you getting tired of seeing poop sketches!
aaaand a process on the fishy thing...just for good measure.
-combined multiply layers
-normal + brightness contrast mask
-normal. [used brush set to multiply mode to darken]
You told my life story on your livestream except that I went from cello to guitar/bass/keyboard and in 2005 to drawing. Can't play that much nowadays cause it would distract my drawing. Hope you'll be doing more of the streams in the future 'cause it was very informative. Your colors are getting better each time you post and the graininess is a very good addition to your style.
Cool doodle. Show us the rest of the awesomes, kthxbye.
