Dan's Sketchbook

Hey gang,

I had a bunch of people at the workshop ask me what happen to my sketchbook. Well, I kinda got sick of it so I took it down. Any rate, I promised to repost it. I'm not sure i still have all the images.

So here it is...again.

Sir. You and line have a relationship I can only begin to envy.
Seriously. Your lines are beautiful, and capture motion extremely well. So gestural in the best possible way that it blows my mind. I SALUTE.

Really inspiring stuff Dan. I know you're here in Toronto...so I was wondering if you taught any part time classes at any colleges. I would definately be interested.

Oh, such a beauty, effortless. Real pleasure to see your art, please post new and old art work. And maybe some unexpected experiments we are not aware of. Will be interesting to see all of your sides. Gangsters are mine the most favorite of all time . and this one http://homepage.mac.com/danmilligan/...ept05/jd11.jpg. Oh, so good. very warm and great story telling. And rainy streeet is great. I saved it all. My daughter likes the swimming pool very much. , she likes swimming. And if it is OK with you I would love to see the LMS piece in this thread, of the imaginative friend, it makes me smile every time I see this funny story. So truthful, so expressive. , and I love the boy, both boys, actualy, heheh.
Regards, Sveta.

Dan you're so dreamy. I really hope you're going to the Italian workshop, although i might get kicked out for sexual harrasment towards you.

Seriously tho, im a big fan of your work, and i'd love to see you do it live, as i hear its quite a trip.

Beautiful! Very nice style! Your characters and their faces are really expressive! Your scenes are full of emotion, dramatism and dynamism! Really touching! Keep it up! Wanna see more!

man this is just awesome! I need to add this to my subscribe too. I also have a very very silly question: what are all these workshops that people keep metioning all over the place? Please don't flame for that question i am just still trying to get my head around all that this site has to offer.

everything is so ymuuy in this thread... It was great chatting with you in Montreal you really are a gem... I really hope I get the priviledge of seeing another one of your amazing demos... Wait until Universities start to hear about your crazy demos I can totally see you doing demos in lecture halls. I hope you keep this thread going.... Maybe you can do a 5am speedy for us on a daily basis! That would be cool to how you operate that early in the morning...!
