Just now figuring out how to work on these message groups. I?m afraid I am a bit behind on the lingo and nuances of navigating such a large forum. Any suggestions and help would not be regarded unkindly.
I am an illustrator, working in comics, paperbacks, games etc,. if interested please go check out my sight at http://www.jonfoster.com
This is a wonderful place with almost too much information and art. I?ve already been inspired by and learned more information than I have had the chance to in the last couple of months (that is of course if you do not include the san diego comic con, that is highly recommended for all).

Welcome, I just checked out your site and you have some great work! :chug:
I agree with you about having learned quite a bit since I started coming here. Some things worth checking out are "the importance of sketchbooks" and andrews self portraits of the day. not to say that there isnt amazing work to be found all around.
You should join in the thunderdome competition and also check out all the entries for the last one.
once again, welcome!

hey jon...great to see you on the boards...I had hoped you would stop by...been doing our best to get a good thing going over here.
anyhow..no real rules or lingo to master on the boards..if you want to post an image all you do is hit reply or new thread and use the IMG button above the text window.
we dont censor the stuff on here...its an open forum. speak freely..show anything you like.
ps..for those of you who have not been...the san diego comic con is a great trip to make. lots of talented artists...lots...i agree with jon entirely.

Hey there, Foster!
If you want to become insta-popular, all you really have to do is drop a sketch or advice here and there. We'll dig you for it. We have no shame
Warning to all: visit his site and I guarantee you'll wet your armour, this man has it figured out already.
