After 8 months of creative break i started to paint again.
This is the first warmup Image for 2006.
Wacom Intuos 2.
Original size 3000 x 4239
Image Painted in Open Canvas 1, finalized in Photoshop 5.
Done in about 18 hours.
I finalized the Image quicker then planned, got bored and had many other ideas i wanted to start. So many planned details are missing, also changed the BG concept to save time.
lovely! 8 months creativity break. and u still kick ass in your first shot >_<
Wow truely a masterpiece. though a little ponder, wouldnt the glare or light produced my the flame be reflected off the armour, other then that thought.

awesome, I think just a weeee, little bit more modeling on the girls face would help. either that or make it more stylized by reducing the modeling on the rest of her.
Realy nice illust. I like the chicks, very well done anatomy
Nothing but a tail and some will
beautiful rendering, really digging the costumes too
Hey Randis, cool artwork, i like your stuff, the colors and atmosphere are fine.
Works great man. Very sexy and cool. We need u out there doing comic covers man, or better still a graphic novel. AND you got bored!
damn... thats really nice. i came on board during your absence and im really looking forward to seeing more from you. very inspiring, even if it was "rushed"
- I think it's official... I am the world's slowest painter
Wow, that's hot. Lovin the textures on the ground.
Hottness!! I love it! Though there are some weight/balance/perspective issues that bug me. They're subtle, but they make a big difference:
The left foot of the front hottie was getting too small for the angle we're viewing from, and her balance was a little off. And for the stance that she is in, her right foot needed to be planted more directly beneath her main mass. I don't normally do paintovers. Hope you don't mind
Great piece regardless!
her hand is sick nasty!
yeah definitely agreeing with phuzion here, just on the closest figure, the weight bearing leg should be straighter and tense. the other leg can be much more free and i would recomment bending it somehow or pushing it out away from the body a bit more to emphasise the weights on the other leg. the weight bearing leg has to look very solid in this case coz the torso is bending so much.
i dunno about this but i also kinda get the feeling the ribcage doesnt flow that smoothly into the waist and doesnt really overlap much as it might from looking from above....
apart from that i feel its a cool piece though, cool design
Hot sexiness, I also felt like something wrong with the legs but the whole image looking so nice I prob wouldnt have brought it up at all - cant wait to see how this will look like when Phusions suggestions are used to fix it !!!
look I dont know why I love you I just do
cool to have you here
what are you doing in Bankok?

<mildly sarcastic remark that seems a little cutting at first read, but contains wisdom and is really rather funny>

whoa, that really nice man, cool perspective work
Beautiful work, Randis. The only crit I have is that to my eye the belly area on the front figure looks off, giving her the appearance of being either bloated or pregnant.
Hey im ugly but I probably get sum more often than you.
