Pheew. Like 50 minutes. Only one time I've spent half this much time on froze. I tried shading/lighting. I still don't have the hang of it though Anyways... this is a kid who can summon his "little friend"a giant phantom cockroach
I think I may take it further later this summer or something, when I hope I have this lighting/shading stuff half ass

I actually did this last night as a joke, but I didn't like it so I didn't post it. Its the first time in a long time that I approached a piece with the intent of copying the original so directly. Chalk it up to practice in Painter.
2 hours, with photo reference (obviously)
hahaha Fozzybar, while I was sleeping it just occurred to me I could have made a larger image/then do the magical copy n paste and just fill in the background color.
