Sweet! Two thumbs up!
most people suck at combining photos with painting. You don't, and I like how the pieces with photo elements fit right in with the others. I think the cutout outline flattens the first one too much in places, but it's still interesting. On the last one, the girl's right arm bugs me. It's okay to stretch anatomy around, but it doesn't look like an arm anymore. Small crit though. Nice buncha work!

you have a great sense of space, and I love the graphic design elements. The images are terrifying. I love it.
I really dig the tones in this but I do have a crit. The graphic elements in these images, especially in the first 3 are kind of distracting from the illustration. My eyes are immedeatly pulled into the graphic circles before I can focus on the actual illustration.
The fourth pic is definately my favorite of the bunch.
Perturbadoras como siempre. Algún día me vas a tener que explicar tu técnica
I like specially the first one of the horizontal series, pretty disturbing.
Great illos, as usual.
Keep it up!
possessed: Thanks, Im afrad that the whole idea behind the graphic elements was to serve as a "starting" point to discover the rest of the illustration.
Recursive_End: Thanks again!
theincredibleandy: Didnt noticed the arm on the last one, spot on dude! and right you are about the spiral guy being flat, I guess it served more as a groundwork, than actually achieving a sense of space trhought the graphic elements, thanks for the crits!
Ops, missed Fedezz... Ill post a quick tutorial once I get some spare time!
nice stuff, and i'm a fan of white wolf's story concepts. This is stuff is much better than some of the stuff he had for the older books, I guess white wolf upped his art budget...
disturbing. but sweet.
Bomba: thanks Jason, I was very curious about your reaction to these!
George Bibier: Thanks, nice Blood Angel avatar btw!
Revenants: Yeah, mee too, kinda spent my youth looking at their books, so I take that as a big compliment
the first one on the left look like the monster in final fantasy 10, the one who is imprisoned with chains all over him
cool drawing, great trace
Thanks dude, havent played Final Fantasy X tho... Ill see if I can rent it and see the monster you are talking about.
i really like the mood in these. they practically drip creepy atmosphere. You have a real talent for drawing awful, hulking, misshapen monstrosities. How much is painting and how much drawing? Its kind of tough to tell. I really like the vampire chicks collar and jacket.
Telly great work, like the mood and the direction. Only crit is tha some texture are to blury, so tha give a litle photoshop feel. Other than this, great!
Don't pay any attention to what they write about you. Just measure it in inches.
pues, no sabia que hablen y critican en espanol.
Just wanted to say it was awsome...again.
nephilim: Roughly its 50% photocollage and 50% painting, tho some have more painting (the third one of the first series is 90% painting). I admit that I like confusing people a bit about what is photography and what is actual painting, but its not out of malice, I swear!
Ramzeal: Good point, Ill work on that!
bert: Yes you can, tho its always good to keep at least a couple words in english, so the rest of the forum can share the critique.
(pasate por el thread de "Hablas Español" Broken Spirit, esta en su firma!)
Heheh....I like the one with the butterflies, the prison scene is also remarcable, nice ....
Iron Titan: Thanks mate!
Andy: Hey, thanks for commenting! my only hopes are that these pictures made someone elses day! Ill be bringing more graphic elements in the future
Sam. These are great. I especially like the use of everyday marks like coffee rings. I'm sure I've seen that technique used in other work of yours. I'm almost tempted to let my kitchen go without a clean for a couple of weeks.
The sense of atmosphere is so tangible, dirty and gritty. I feel like having a shower. Exactly what horror should do in my world at least.
