300 production blog! (big load)

I've posted some of this already over the last little while (sorry for the redundancy). But I'd thought I'd point out that Warner Brothers has launched a nice production blog to journal the making of the film. Looking good!

Check it out: http://www.300themovie.com

Some boards
Some concepts

Peace

Fantrastic stuff, Dan. So fresh and full of motion. Some of these were already in my favorites folder, but that shot of the legion in the canyon is just great!

Thanks for all the inspiration. Seriously.

You complete me...

Dang the black and whites are beautiful, so much movement. I think they are going to have to be my desktop for a while so I can soak them in. Thanks for posting, it really is a great inspiration. You make it look way to easy.

Dan, these are freakin' amazing. This not only is impressive on your part, put I'm pumped about the movie, aswell. I demand to see the entire intro of the movie done by Milligan! Hahaha, no but seriously, it be cool if they incorporated the art from the books atleast, a tribute perhaps. Anyway, loving the work. I love the troop shot.

LOVE it. The figures are so fluid and and the lighting really makes the boards pop. Very inspiring while I'm doing my own Storyboarding homework.

I have to go to my Advanced Storyboarding (in the Sequential Art Deptartment--how ironic) class @ noon and I'm totally sharing your work with my prof.

No one does story boards like you Dan... Freaking amazing.. I just cant get enough of your work... Im trying to find my way into that little program they call Photoshop now and when I look at work like your I try to disect as much as possible and although it seems like theres few brush strokes there, when I look at them, really look at them theres so many. Color on top of color, the action lines pounding against eachother, Man I would love to sit and just watch you paint all day... Are you going to the workshop??? You should be teaching a demo...

Jason- We need Dan on the teaching roster!

Thanks for these.. youve made my day

This had to be a blast to work on. So much action and movement in these boards... you're an art monster. I'm really pumped to see what was done with these boards, a movie of this graphic novel sounds too good to be true.
