why dont you try doing something for preschoolers..
you know? alphabet books, and small picture'tell tale' storybooks..
you have got a great style..
keep it up..
Ask me any doubt and i will help you out the best way i can..
as far as drawing is concerned...hmm.. you just have to draw...
draw.. and draw..
dont jump into character design before you get to know the fundamentals of the character...you see? design comes secondary..
get a good anatomy book..
i would reccomend andrew loomis figure drawing..( you must be having it already.. do i sound stupid..?)
and thats it..
keep workin and bye..

The Great Indian Mythology Character Design Trick - ( please do leave your comments on this sketchbook) http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=142727
Amazing love the design in your work.
Cant wait to see more.
You have come a long way since the first pages, well done indeed, but don't slack of, keep working hard and keep working smart. I think more studies would get you on the way, and more drawing from life. If you have a DS or something you could get the painting software and do some lifepainting while out on a stroll
DannySketch: Thankyee harries!
Equality72521: Cheers Its Gouache
Mischeviouslittleelf: Thanks, i do have a DS id love to get colours, ill probably do it after christmas with my next pay cheque
OK, ive been waiting to post this for ages!!!
Ive submitted a t shirt design on Threadless.com and i would reaaaaally appreciate your guys support by voting for my t shirt, then it might get printed and available to buy ooo exciting
Heres the link!! id appreciate it greatly!
Well it's got my vote cause Mr.Awesome Octopus is.... awesome.
Heres a project im working on at the moment- we had a 3D sort of workshop assignment in Uni, and this is what i did.
The car doesnt look too great because the glue wasnt too great, and the card wouldnt curve- kept moving, so ended up doing the best i could with it, and snipping off the edges that ended up sticking out, but it doesnt look too neat!
- I'm loving the 3D paper works, and the illustration cut-out piece! Very original style - fantastic work Fran!
the last pencil sketch there is beautiful! - keep it up!
Clochette, Molly: Thanks
i have another t shirt up to vote on on threadless-
please visit and vote!
The other one i submitted did well, within the highest scores ive seen, i'll find out in a month whether or not its been chosen, fingers crossed!
Are those Owls digital or actual real life collages?
I really like the Octopus t-shirt design, I hope it does well in the compo!
"Admitting that free man may err, in no way invalidates the importance of his ability to decide for himself."
"laws that forbid the carrying of arms . . . disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes . . . Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."
you draw great!

heres another pencil study of one of Ruas' pieces, im gonna try a different take on this in photoshop as well
There's obviously a lot of quality around here at CA, but some things are my cup of tea more than others (individuality over flamboiance). I must admit your stuff has caught my eye, I'm looking forward to coming back and going through the whole thread properly.
ruas' art is gorgeous, pretty solid pick for an artist to study. so yeah, nice study, lovely line quality. I love the relief and 3d stuff further up, top stuff, your doin some really interesting things.

Very nice sketches I saw your work when I went to the UWE open day, there weren't many sketchbooks on display, but yours was by far the best.
Hopefully I'll see u around next year.
