idiot: it´s mostly envy. everybody believes to own kinkade any day yet he makes the money. serious money. i´m not hating on him i just thought it was funny how much off a copycat strubel is
it is envy. but it's not just envy coz then we'd all hate any successful artist. It's perhaps anger at the fact that someone who paints such horribly naff and twee pictures can get loaded. the pictures make me sick, but good on him for being a great business man, i say.
Me personally, I have nothing against the man, but I really hate that art style. The lighting is cool to a point (although IMPOSSIBLY bright and looks like the house is ablaze from the inside), but the subject matter is just so "gingham, geese and pies". Eyuck.
