Hm.. A picture I've been working on for the last days
Her skin looks looks really great & smooth.
Skin - face - hair & eyes I really like.
But the rest still looks a bit flat - especially the wings - maybe get an angel to model for you
For some reason your painting reminds me Degas's dancers.
Really like it.
P.S.:"And I may be gay but I can tell you straight away, that I will become a better father than all of you anyway.
-> I never had the idea that "suffering" (see the "feeling gay" thread in the lounge) from gayness made people worse at parenting
EDIT : Actually I think this kind of work could sell potentially maybe possibly definatly I guess quite very well .
I certainly wouldn't mind a sexy gorgeous hot imortal angel on my wall or as a pin-up.
the lighting on the clothing and on her skin is off. Her shirt seems to be lit from both sides, while her skin seems to be lit both from our direction(the thigh) and from the left(her face, etc.)
Also, her eyes just feel too damn defined, maybe if they were more obscured it would lend to a more convincing impression. The neck is flat because you've shaded it evenly, I imagine it would be darker at the bottom because the dip in, athough that depends on which one of your lightsources is hitting it.
Hm.. I guess she looks like a dancer, maybe that's why you thought of 'Degas dancers'
And wings aren't my best friends exactly They're awful! =D
I will try and fix 'em.. I hope.
here's some thoughts for you ... try to simplify the figure to some simple shapes ... nail down your drafting then detail away.
Nice values for such a quick rendering, BK...thanks for that take on it!

Jason sez: Draw more from Life!
The title says: "Angel in heels". Where are her heels in the composition?
