i had a huge comment for you yesterday but conceptart was down for some reason. real nice work with the brushes... it gives it a certian mood... not a calming one for me, weird mood.

as for the other posts before this one... real nice on the last girl speedpaint. when i squint my eyes it looks like a girl's there.

I'm preparing myself for artschool. Because of this I scanned some more drawings and looked through older digital paintings. I will update a lot today.

I did this 7 months ago. Spend a lot time on it (3h i guess) and then posted it in the speedpaint section. Well, I'm always confused.

Today I figured out that I probably have to wait 6 months before attending artschool. That sucks. Additionally my version of painter is fucked up.
The only good thing that happened today is that I now have an 19" monitor (I bought it for 20$ from a good friend).

ammoburger: thanks. Digital is just another media. The problem is that it has so many ways to use it that its hard to find the right one. I'm still searching for it.

You may have noticed that I cheated with the backround drapery. I had a lot of problems with it so I took some photos and made it look right. This technique is another thing I learned from the little abstracts.

damn you're ripping it up in this sketchbook! As far as colour is concerened anyway, it would be cool to see some more life drawings from you.

I really like those pen portraits you did as well.

Just curious about the Black and white pic you have been working on. The shirt has stayed black the entire time while you've begun to give the face light sources. The hair also doesn't reflect the light sources you've put in. Nonetheless, it looks great!

Your colour tests and abstracts are great as well, I want to do some now!

Zulle: Vielen Dank. Wegen Öl und Zeichnungen: Hab leider keinen eigenen scanner und der auf den ich ab und zu zugreifn kann der hat leider nen defekt und is zusätzlich zu klein für alles größer als a4 (also auch für alle öl sachn). Werd mich vielleicht demnächst überwinden n paar hässliche digicambilder zu posten. Mal sehn. Ich bin 19 und will in kassel studiern. Oder stuttgart aber das is eher unwahrscheinlich (komische schule und eigentlich will ich da net hin).

otherside: Thanks a lot for the crits. I seriously need crits! More lifedrawing will come soon and lifepainting too (at least I hope so). Thanks for the Crits on the B/W piece, I will work on this again today and will post my ref as well.
