I'm a little intimidated posting here for the first time, but I desperately need the feedback. =)
This is a study I did tonight, for a drypoint (copper engraving) that I'll be starting for my printmaking class on Thursday night.
Typically, my work is very flat 2D and almost iconographic with generally a lot of texture in it. I'm trying to redevelop out of that into a more realistic manner of rendering. Proportions and perspective have always given me a lot of trouble, and I'm working hard to try and fix my ways, but by and large I keep repeating the same mistakes.
I'm specifically looking for help on body proportions, but any other help on composition, content, etc is really appreciated. Once you make a mark on the copper, it is for the most part, permanently there. =D
