Nice works you have going here!! Ok My fav is the guy sittin in the chair....but......Dude If you clean it up a little with the paint it would be even better. The sculpt is waayyyy koool but the paint job needs some improving. The area around his feet where there is blue paint on them..???I know that takes some practice but it used to drive me crazy in kindergarden when the kid next to me wouldn't color in the lines in the coloring book!!!! LOL well you are off to a great start with the sculpey.

Hi

Yeah warhammer paint works fine with sculpey, I used to use it all the time.

It's expensive in the UK though (compared to normal art acrylics).

Hey!
I'm new here too... I really like your pieces
I especially like the great detail in the hands on your hawaiian guy (but for some reason his profile view seems a bit off, maybe the neck is too far forward?)
I also think that repainting parts of the "L" guy would be a good idea... (but I really like him, will have to look at that manga)
It will be cool to see how your third piece comes out too!

Long arms and short legs, Andre looks like a little person {Midget, Sorry Guys}. I guess he's called the giant because of that "package", and that space cowboy thing, Dude! What is that thing on his left arm? Sick man, very sick. Keep up the good work. I have GOT to see these when they are finished.

Ahoi,
I haven't posted anything for years now and decided to share, what I did during those days and months.

First up are my older works:
Old piece I made when i read the D.Gray Man manga

An original character:

A giant that I decapitated recently because I wasn't happy with it:

A small bust:

Another original inspired by 30 Days of night:

ha ha!!

i love "dawn of the sponge", what a great concept!
the "leading heroine" is sooooooo freaky but I think you've done a fantastic job with it..I cant help myself from going back up the page for another look.
must be my morbid fascination!

great stuff

That is definitely the greatest representation of sponge bob ever! I also just started watching death note and L looks pretty good, recognized him right away.

Your getting the shapes down pretty good, but I'd like to see you spend a bit more time refining the anatomy and body parts. A little more detail would go a long way!

Haha! I've been having a great time going through this thread and looking over the work you're putting together here. Lots of interpretations of other work, but some very original interpretations nonetheless.

Dawn of the Sponge seems to be the clear winner in this update. Not something you'd want the kiddies to catch on Saturday mornings.

Wow, I really really appreciate the comments, thanks a lot!
Now I'm a little pumped to do something new... maybe a Patrick? ^^

There's a tube missing on the GYO figure in the pictures (i didn't see it when I did them) that broke of but is now back on again.

Heh! Dawn of the Sponge is such a great idea. Leading heroine and the one from 30 days of night are also fantastic. Very creative works.

I love your style reminds me of the freaky stop motion animations they used to play at two in the morning on channel four in the 90s. They always creeped me out as a kid. There is something really memorable about the mix of cartoon and horror.
Great stuff. I do agree with Corth though a little bit more study in anatomy will take you a long way. Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff.

Hi, this is André (trying the Facebook log in) and I have a new bust that I wanted to show you based on the cover art of one of the Y - The last Man issues. (About three inches high/Looks kind of big in those images...)
