Very nice stuff Dreln, i especially like the guy with the pet dragon. I also like the girl who doesn't have many clothes on lol. She would be cool as a comic book heroine, and the guys would think so too POst some more when you get em done
man your drawings are realy cool man you can draw
Hey, you've got some cool stuff in here. Great start to a thread. I love that nekkid lady with the sea serpents. The way that scan came out it looks like you drew it on vellum. Hope you post more!

Thanks for the comments guys.
~Lover~ : Regrettably she's already an established character, Vampirella, so I wont take credit for her The dragon guys is my next colouring project so we'll see how that turns out.
GekkoAlex: Thanks man!
darkchild: The nakkid lady is my take on the Scylla, A Greek mythological creature who managed to eat a few of Ulysses' crew mates on his voyage.
A few more sketchies.
wow, these are excellent. no crits here but i'm excited to see more work!

some cool stuff goin on here but your pecil stuff is a bit too blurry sometimes. try to push the contrast while rendering your figures, that would push the quality of your images much more.
A couple more for yas:
I've been trying to do some more dynamic poses in perspectives. Kinda out of my comfort zone The Conan one was supposed to have a few more guys around him but like the gold fish, I promptly moved on.
For the brick wall one I kinda noticed, afterwards of course, that the ground in the foreground would not be raised like that if the roots were smashing down...oh well. I'm a master of finding things wrong with my stuff after I have considered it done
Wow, didnt take me long b4 i realized that this thread deserves a 5 star Incredible and very inspiring =)
haha conan getting hit by lightning is funny. Nice drawings 8)
God man, one of the best scketchbooks I've seen! Your style is kickass.
Sweet, sweet. You gonna finish that piece? Would love to see it colored. Nice stuff as always .
Hey Dreln, thanks for leaving the great comments in my thread; I think you were the first to "get" the deep-sea diver Icarus type drawing and being a huge Jules Verne fan, all the better. But anyways, your sketches are great and your figures are comfortable, if I can use that term, they are fluid and are where the should be, if you know what I mean. The faces are expressive and unique, as well. Looking forward to seeing more.
I really like your style Dreln. So many drawings! I love how they are all over, Mouth of Sauron right next to Robin, randomness rocks!
______Check it out if yer cool enough. ________
And I have a new store! New stuff will be added pretty regularly.______Uncanny Revolt. ________
Goog: Thanks man, yep that one is my next colouring project. Hopefully it will make it further than my usual "projects"
stine: Yeah the pokemon one was definately a hit with my friends and family, I need to do more humorous stuff.
madplanet: I think I do know whatcha mean, thanks madplanet!
Patrick Quin: Thanks Patrick, I try to force myself to draw many different things but I usually sink back into fantasy
Anyways, here's a new page of sketches from the weekend, managed to get a half page done on top of that but I'll post it when I fill er to the brim
Some of these were done from references just so yas know
Your works wonderful! i love your style so very much! it seems to work in every situation and with every kind of character! Make me want to practise figures more and take more time and care with them as i do with face expressions, gesture of the body is so fun!
