Hells no! You will update this every week!
These are nice...you have good control of your lines...I wish I had that.
- just sketch like a madman and post your shit so we can make fun of you, praise you, kiss your ass, crit you, tell you to study Loomis and Bridgman, etc, etc....it'll be grand
These are great! I don't have any reason to make fun of them...yet. Keep posting so I can find one.
Heres some stuff from this month.
I draw batman a lot when i have no inspiration... I think its because I have a fantasy of beating down and terrorizing punks
two from the park.
those two from the park are quite elegant and beautiful....nice job man.
I am really feeling the first one...really great breakdown of the big simple shapes.
- I also really dig the dude blowing stuff out of his mouth. It reminds me a bit of James Jean...but I don't know why, cause nothing very JamesJean is popping out. Whatever..it's a great sketch..
- Are ya gonna come to Art Out Loud at the Society? hope to see ya there
I'm not gunna make fun of your drawings. Sorreh.
But I will leave some feedback! Your canary and your crane appeals to me most, you're exploring with your cross hatching and thus they feel the most solid. Also, nice gesture on the canary's body; very sexy linework! You statue studies would benefit from that same sensitivity of form, since they read as very flat as they are.
The chesire cats feel cliche, I've seen him in every 15-20 year old's sketchbook Batman needs a lot of anatomy help, from the plane of his chest pointing inward to his tiny hips. I know this was just a doodle, but dig up some refs for the next one! ^_^
Willow-whisp: Hey thanks for the crits. I never noticed the flaws in batman til you mentioned them. I havent been to life drawing in a few months.. need to go back..
Loomer: That thing probably looks like james jean work cuz i look at his work too much. Ive found that if someones work is interesting enough i start to see little bits of them popping up in my work. I hope it doesnt get too bad, I dont want to be one of the james jean clones. Thats pretty embarassing.
winjer your shading is really good, it really brings out the work youve done. the cat in a suit has a quality expression
Those two sketches from the park are cool. Nice, clean and clear. Great work on them. Your creatures are well done, but your anatomy needs a bit of work. Batman has a bit of a big head and he doesn't seem to have his cowl on. Great work so far. Please keep posting.

I gotta scan in your bad ass rock (or waht's left of it) from the park.
Oh yeah, Nells and I are planning to go boozing after the Jazz session this Thursday. Just giving you a heads up.
Amish- yeah thursday drinking will be sweet. I have no classes the next day. I think some sva chicks might come too.
Heres some more life drawings for my immense fanbase to look at.
1 minute poses, no beer

20 minutes, maximum beer effect
stay tuned for more posts. I might post my awesome gouache color chart, or my badass oil paint greyscale. you have no idea what might be next.

Mainloop- man i must be dyslexic.. cuz i thought you asked how many people are on lsd
damn now everyone knows im that guy in the back with the thick emo glasses. whos that guy in the front with the messed up hair. what a loser
thats wierd i was talking to her. I thought she was a student somewhere.
Im avante garde now
yeah those are cool people glasses
I did these in natalie ascenscioseses class today. The chick in that pic isnt her.
Natalie Ascencios is teaching at SVA now? cool..good illustrator.
Those life drawings are looking real good...are you taking McMullan or Gaffney?
I gotta get me some of those cool people glasses...even if I don't need em
i dunno if youd get anything out of it commy. She teaches basic stuff to the second year, like proportions and gesture. Im not really in her class, i just go there to draw.
loomar i am taking babboni who also teaches the high focus drawing. Ill try to sneak in to gaffneys classes too. Im developing a habit of bumming around sva going into classes im not in. Im in one class thats supposedly for juniors and seniors only. Its pretty fun.
Smart man..sneak in to all the awesome classes. the teachers will almost never mind. I had Rob..he's good, but I did prefer Gaffney. I kinds related to him more, and I think he's a superior draftsman.
post some more shit man..you gotta have like 8,000 life drawings already!
arff. i might finish this. someday.
