Caravaggio - John the Baptist
Some of my placement is off, I didn't sketch in too much detail from the beginning rather I did a loose sketch and then blocked in the colours and lights and darks. Maybe that would have been different if I'd done a better sketch, I'm not sure. The original may or may not be the exact photo I used as I had to search for it again, I didn't save it before painting. This was very enjoyable though, I love painting figures and fabric.
Currently working on another one, I love this thread!
