Edited: I'm making this into an all-purpose photo thread instead of just the Ophelia shoot.
Ophelia at the Waterfalls
I think there might be one more roll? But here's everything so far.
Photographer: Angel Ceballos
Makeup: Prescriptives foundation & blush, Wet n' Wild lip gloss, L'Oreal eyebrow pencil, MAC concealer & blot powder, Feria Power Reds hair color in Fire Red, homemade eyeshadow
Film Specs: Nikon FM3A, except for the B&W which are Holga. All film, all unretouched.
Location: please don't ask. It's awful of me, I know, but I want as few people as possible to know about this place. It's sort of...sacred. A part of my childhood. It's not exactly a state secret, but it's certainly little-known.

The grime on the skin here really really makes me happy.

Silly ones, behind the scene ones, and ones my dad, Rob and I took with a little digital:
I spent a lot of time sort of gasping involuntarily. The combination of the water temperature, the floating, and the clothes was very very weird for my body somehow. I enjoyed it a great deal.
Dad, on the bridge over the waterfall. This is where he was taking pictures from.
Hope these are useful, entertaining, and/or inspiring. I like them a great deal.
I love especially 9, 12,
14 (<-- 14 is the the best)
some really nice ones but I didnt like the black and white ones (the pictures didnt seem b/w quality as you couldnt get a good amounts of solid whites and blacks) also I dont think those orange flowers really suited it, non the less some really nice photos here
Wonderful photos. Very beautiful and peaceful. I don't blame you keeping the place a secret. There are places around where I live that I like to think I only know about, where no roads lead to them and seem to be untouched by the hand of man. There can never be too many places like that.
These are so wonderful, vary awsome!

Give me some love! JARheads SKETCHBOOK of DOOM!
these pictures are beautiful. my favorites are 5, 9, and 10. i love the colors. they dont look too posed or anything. the location is wonderful as is the model.
I found number 27 to be the most engaging. I realise it's one of your "non-formal" pictures, but I found it to be the most striking of them all. No, I couldn't tell you why.
I love the pictures. The colours, the water, everything is great. Well done.
the only thing lacking there is a brand name.you could have been endorsing something...
Digital Print on Demand "Going digital has never been this good"
these are very beautiful. i enjoyed the color choices of the costumes. the whole scene felt very dreamlike to me. you mentioned the locale was a special place from your childhood. the nostalgia, the mystic love for the surroundings, it's all present in the photos. great job.
I LOVE numbers 14 and 24 those are just so awsome! Hehe It looks as if you are just drifting away.............................................. ....................
I think I have been there is that Cades Cove?
I would kick up the contrast if I were youbring out the tone of your skin more.
*smart alec reply*
Man, you must be really tired, all we see you doing is laying down in the water and then you sleeping on the shore.
Regarding the plane shots. I did some stuff just like that. Though I love the work you had up before. High contrast good vibrant color great work indeed.. though the b/w ones were the only was I didnt care for too much though its always nice to try something new.
I think it's wierd that your dad is there for that shoot, but at the same time, I think it's awesome that he's supportive of you doing stuff like this. Crazy cool. That water must have been freeeeeeezing, but you seem to be having so much fun anyways, hehe. That location is hot too. I need to get outta Cali.

wow, amazing shots; especially if there's no photoshop color tweaks!
millais' ophelia is one of my favorite pre raphaelite pieces.
