I really like the undead and nightelf pieces. No offense, I like your work alot and I have seen other works that you have created before and they are really awsome, but these pieces dont do it for me, excpet for the nightelf and undead ones. I feel that they are lacking alot compared to other pieces such as your master and servants piece and others on your website. Alot of these images are coming off flat and unfinished.

The second pic ( gnomes? ) is brilliant!

Really solid work throughout. I don't know much about WoW, but I'm guessing these are representations of males and females from the character races? Interesting compositions ( and nicely varied, considering each pic has such similar subject matter ), great colour choices and very clean rendering. Good stuff!

My only crit is the lack of details. You have it in places - the male orc's hair, the seams of the female minotaur's ( ? ) legwear, but other areas of the images feel a little bare. Now that could be the style you were asked for, and these might be for display at a lower resolution on the webpage, in which case it's no great shakes, but I think just a light scattering of those little extra details - a few defined stones on the floor, laces or stitches on the dwarves clothing, a few more defined follicles where you have hair or fur etc. - would take these illos from good to great. The humans and, to a lesser extent, the dwarves in particular look in need of just a little extra lovin'.

Always good to see your stuff, Jason.

Thanks guys.

Thanks for your honesty, but you're right. I was told that these would be displayed at 500x400px , but I think it ended up being less than that. So yeah, I wasn't overly concerned with little details. I could definitely put a lot more work into these if I wanted to, but I've got to move on to other projects.

I'm partial to the gnomes, night elves, and humans myself.

I also like the night elves, dwarves, and tauren for the way the characters are interacting, where as in the other pictures they seem a bit seperated(expect maybe for the gnomes).

Great work overall.

Whoa, Jason. I didn't know you had already completed them! You should've brought these to lunch! Great job, man! That orc woman scares me so badly. Hah. The Night Elves, The Undead, and the Gnomes are my favorites! Excellent work!

Hey Jason! These are great! I really think you are developing an incredibly tight and distinctive personality in your art. Something you don't do, and is to your credit, is use a lot of secondary light sources to pick out highlights. This gives everything a real solidity and presence. I think the second one is my favourite, it's such a 'fun' pic, and the girls expression is ace!

I like simplicity of these. I think you connected figures and white bg super-great.
Im not shure about knees. In some of your images seems that legs are not same size, or that thigh is too short.

and yeah, I found Elf's, Orc's and Undead girl most sexy

well some nice stuff here. The undead pic is probably the best of the set. Biggest complaint would be the first pic, the dwarves. The girls face looks quite flat. And their poses are kind of stark. Maybe if the girl was holding the metal and the guy was hammering or visa versa. Also the metal, since it is really hot, would luminate more. Its practically a light source of its own. Sorry if this seems nit picky or even annoying, but just my 2 cents.
probably already sent these off anyways but who cares. still a wonderful job., loving those colors.

Is the undead one trying to kill himself (thats odd) with his staff? Looks like he is...
Love the tauren, NE and UD piece though

Hey Jason, these are cool. I think as little character studies they work really well, especially if they are only going to be viewed at a lower resolution. My only tiny crit is that the tauren look a little sleepy and docile....maybe a little too passive? Maybe they need a little more aggression like the orc drawings...beh - what do I know. cool stuff anyways - always nice to see new work from ya.

beautiful. even if theres no real interaction between the male and female you can still sense the unity. wonderful pallette, wonderful rendering style.

i like the anatomy of the dwarf woman, she doesnt look off in any way. though i would have made the metal theyre working a little more molten, perhaps with some sparks, cause at the moment the piece is sorta lacking focus point. it would be good to have an orange glow being cast on their faces, too

wonderful action in the second piece, though it might be an idea (to better emphasise the movement of characters) to blur the ground a little, or maybe even carry the same strokes from the hair to the grass. have uniform angles. it might pay to have a few loose strands here and there, at the moment their hair is quite stiff and unnatural looking.

id like to see some more differentiation between the shadows and higlights in the third piece, as its a little hard to distinguish form from time to time. again, wonderful unity. perhaps the fabrics could be a little more glossy like velvet? that would be more regal.

fourth piece needs not much work, tho id put a little more light in the centre of the bird as it appears to be casting a glow onto the figures.

the girl orc's head and hands are a little off. i think its the acutal structure of her head, cause at the moment it looks more like an oval. youve given a good browline on the guy, why not on the girl? the hands just need some more highlights to bring them outta the bg. also keep in mind the physiology of orcs and that the darker the green of the skin, the more powerful/dominant the individual.

absolutely beautiful rendering and mix of anatomy on the minotour couple, though the guy's torso is a little hard to make out with the current lighting. again, it just needs some more definition. to be honest im not really liking the grasses you do. sorry, no offense, but they are a little sparse..

the goulish characters in the 7th piece are wonderful also, i love the skin tones youve used, but i think the girls right nostril could show a little more as the nose is a little obscure at the moment. maybe im just being picky

the undead couple are great, full of character and again carrying on the sense of unity. no crits there.

well dude, youve pulled off some amazing stuff, im inspired and if it werent for school id be doing some fanart of my own hope to see more soon soon soon!

Great designs! Your skill with brushes is amazing as you put down just the right amount of detail and texture where it's needed.

My favourites the undead couple. Even though the woman has rotting limbs, she doesn't look grotesque!

Very cool design, great use of colour and tone, especially on the skin. Good composition, and i like the sense of movement especially on the gnomes.
