Exclamation To Ringling students/alumni: Scholarship help

Hey guys, as some of you may know, I'm gonna be attending Ringling in the fall, and i was wondering if you knew of any good scholarships that I can apply for. the new ringling catalog just lists a bunch of scholarships w/ no info about them. then i tried looking them up on the internet and i can't find crap. anyway, i really need your help in maybe finding info on a couple of scholarships because my parents and i can't write a check for $25,000 for 4 years, even with financial aid.

Thanks,

clay

hey Clay,
I go to Ringling, and as far as I know, it only offers one scholarship a year. That was the way it was when I was a freshman, I don't know how it is now, but I pay for this school with loans, loans, and more loans. LOL
Best of Luck

Nice observation... lol I've been at Ringling for 4 years, and I think I can see a definate decline in the administration's care for it's students. No scholarships is only one of the many problems. But it does have some excellent teachers. I think it was Android who told me my freshman year that if you want to be good not to rely on the teachers. Good advice.

Ringling gives Scholoarships to rich kids and people who just sit around all day watching tv and surfing or going to beach. If your poor like me, good luck getting any money from ringling. You gotta get that money by loans.

I agree with broken cow. Everyone I know who works hard here has to rely on loans and other ways of getting money. It seems to me that those who get the money from the school are those who really don't need it, which is unfortunate. That is my personal observation from attending Ringling for four years. I've never gotten any help from the school financially, I've had to rely on loans, and other things. LOL I had to sell my car to come here first year!
