I never taken an artclass (except motion graphics, which tough me nothing). and I dont have like a shack of pencils just a number 2HB.
This was more of my try at realism i messed up so bad on the shading....
most of my art looks like this...
I really dont draw too often, but sometimes I just cant stop drawing....I want to really take it serious now, since I am strong in 3d modeling and can do web design/development I figure I'd pick something up that got my started in it all. I am open to anything!

Just a simple suggestion for getting into realism: use a grid on both the photo reference and your paper. I've rarely used that method, but it can be helpful to get all the proportions correct. It's a tool that you want to help you at first, then quietly phase it out. Plus, get some darker pencils. I really like 6B.
