Hey bro, I am currently studying at Otago university in Dunedin. What uni do you go to? Your work is wicked man, especially the maori warriors. Gotto say I used to be able to portray drawings without ref when I was younger, but now it's all gone. Besides, I can't help but it's all true down here that the weather condition makes most students slack. Freaking freezing in winter.

I am graduating this Dec in design studies and hell, I still can't draw like I used to be able to. Im curious, what do you study and how to seek a freelance work? Cheers bro.

I am SOOOO fucking excited about this last post man. It's really refreshing to see some new stuff from ya. And yea... I creamed my pants over that Battle Chasers stuff. It's a damn shame that book came to a very pre-mature end. Damn that Madureira! Ha ha, can't wait to see his shit for Marvel though. Keep it up man, hope updates are just a LIIITTLE more frequent! But I know how it is when work is piling up!

Your BattleChasers stuff is insane. I command you to quit University, move to America and paint Mad's comic for him. And the world shall rejoice. YAY!

Yer new stuff is brilliant as always. Personally I think you should be teaching art classes at the University you are attending. But if they are teaching you to get even better than you are, then all working art professionals better fear for their jobs!

Kick ass at school then destroy the universe with your awesome artwork, Jace! I look forward to every new update.

Its not much but hey i tried, heh. Ive been too preoccupied with uni and other shit to be productive. Ive suprized myself with what ive learnt at Uni even though i didnt realize at the time especially when it came to basic art foundations (forms, colour theory, construction, composition, etc) i really found i knew fuck all about everything and if i did know something it was fluked upon. These images are pretty much created with new found knowledge, and confidence i guess, heh!.

I was mainly practising skin tones here,no photo reference used all outta me head, still coming to grips with Painter:

...any other Initial D fans here?,my take on Takumi, ive got another initial d themed painting that i havent finished yet, itll be up soon.

...Self Portrait using a mirror, about and hour and a halfs worth.

...Another WIP,step by step progress ive posted up in the other sketchbook thread. No photo reference used all outta my head.

Im in the same life drawing class as artist extraodinare lukias, wait till you see his latest drawings ,these are my crappy attempts, mixture of 5, 15 and 30 minute poses.

..and a few sketches from my new minature sketchbook, each page is about quarter A4 size so its tiny.

Ive been working on a few oil paintings aswell ill chuck those up when i finish em.
Thanx for the comments, ill have a proper read through later on.

chur...
...Jase
