Dude, the greyscale stuff is mindblowing. And "Escape" has a fantastic coolness in it..
Really digging your work...
You are bad ass! Love your mind blowing work. You going to be at Revelations in Seattle?
Phuh, I'm blown away by your art and I absolutely drool over for the fact that you are living and drawing in Tokyo. I've been there a few times and it is so out of a scifi movie, so different that I love it there.
Great to see you doing so well with your art and keeping up the studies. It takes a lot of patience to do that detailed work and you get a lot of respect for that.
It's great to see the work process too to learn from it. This is a thread I will be coming back to and try to learn as much as I can.
All the best!
its nuts you're working on such high profile projects! awesome!!!

You know.... while this thread is getting necro'd.
I've always thought this thread was one of the more ambitious on CA. Since I started. You did some gorgeous, fun work here. I hope you're proud, because I personally know some people (myself, included) continually inspired by this. Cheers man.

iam a big fan of jrock/visual kei music so thats makes it very cool for me.
While I appreciate the first few pieces, I like the last two pieces much better.
Wow. Looking at your peices really makes me want to draw more. It's really inspirative.
this could be covers of screamo CDs.smooches
awesome buddy i love the red interior
wow... do you guys realize this thread was originally started back in 2004? and that the last piece of art was added about 10 months ago?
im a fan of tensai's work too, but come on! there are people who have posted new work in their threads TODAY! people who are probably right now checking their thread wondering why nobody is commenting on their work, meanwhile you people are bumping 4year old threads that haven't been updated in 10months...
am i the only one annoyed by this?
moderator, am i crossing a line by saying what im saying?
if i am, i'll shut up and never mention it again...
Alright, fair enough. I haven't posted much cause it's been a crazy year. Thanks to everybody for all the continued support, comments, crits and occasional one-stars.. It's greatly appreciated.
Next to the other stuff I'm still doing cityscapes but I'd like to show a series of nudes I've been working on for the last 18 months. I'm a bit hesitant to post them here, I call these finished works and I'm planning to show them as such. Some will probably call them sketchy and not appropriate for a finally finished thread. Thing is, all my finished work has become more minimal and sketch-like. I'm moving these nudes into a new direction now (as you can see in the last two drawings), and thought it was appropriate to show them now as a whole.
For me personally I really feel I have found my way, and I hope the drawings show some of that.
Printing a series of booklets while in China if all goes well.
edit - uploader fucked with the order. I'll try and sort it out my connection is a bit slow here.
All 3, 5 and 10 minute poses, mostly done in ink, some marker, watercolour, pencils.
Comments and crits as always appreciated.

Just found this thread today, it's cool to see a different approach. I love the figurative drawings, you've got a great sense of style and confidence in your marks. It's also great seeing your work evolve through the thread.
With these last two drawings, what did you use to colour the hair? Is it just ink? If it is, that's some of the most clean, sharp edged ink work I've seen.

One of my wishes would be to return as one of your pens. This stuff is so very different from anything else I've seen on this site. It's stylish, edgy and masterfully done. Brilliant.
Please stop by my sketchbook!
LOVE the figure studies.
i really like these works！
Outstanding. Simply outstanding
