New here to the forums, and pretty new to drawing... Started this einstein a while ago. Please tell me what you think . Iam a very newb (6 months or so) But i think iam learning drawing bit by bit .
nice contrast already.
shading is not the best tho. try not to smudge with your fingers but build up constant values with cross-hatching (for example). DO NOT SMEAR! every art teacher will tell you that. and, try to draw what you see, not what you think you see. the proportions in the face are still kinda off.
Hi Dridon, welcome to the forums. I like the values and the likeness is well done. Next time I would try and render the hair as a solid mass instead of individual strands of hair. Also check out Fred Flicktone's head tutorials, they've helped me a great deal.
Thanks all, but what is cross-hatching ?
It isnt smudged with with my finger BTW, with a squashed carbon fiber pencil, or whats the name of it
