Help!!

Hey.
I'm currently a junior in high school, and I want to be a concept artist in the worst way!! I have a few colleges in mind that I might want to go to, but I need some help with what to major in, etc. I want to design mainly characters for video games and even movies. Architecture isn't my strong point.... Would I major in illustration?? If you have some suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. I live in Massachusettes, so something relatively close to there would be cool. Thx a lot!!

go learn to draw and paint traditionally. any school with a program like that will be fine.

i will be honest with you though..there is no concept job that I know of where the artist only gets to design characters.

work on your skills...draw from life and imagination every day for the next five years.

that will be key.
