after being a longtime visitor, i feel like i should post this question. i'm everday inspired by the work here. i'm inspire to study and try to learn. i'm inspired beyond words, but my inspiration goes unexplored. for some reason, i have no ideas anymore. i feel as though i've almost seen TOO much art and too many illustrations to come up with anything. i always just think of another image i've already seen. it's almost as if i've forgotten how to explore. or, i've had so many drawing assignments and things, that without being told what to draw, i can't come up with anything. i just feel so creatively exhausted. where does wes9000 or lung_bug come up with their ideas? i just dunno what to do to get some ideas coming back to me. i dont know, i guess i'm just looking for people's thoughts.
Well hmm... Inspiration is a hard thing to get. I don't know you can start buy trying to remember all the creatures all the characters that you can think of (or for whatever subject matter you want) and then try to mix em take out characteristics here and there and make it your own. And pretty soon you'll have a memory of so many different things that you can put combination after combination and when you understand the basics behind all of those things maybe you can go beyond and start making your own. May take time but if ya put your mind to it you can do anything.
