Nice series of self-portraits. Your watercolors have alot of enjoyment coming through. Just now trying gouache. Hope they look as cool as some of yours.

tensai- Hey Lok, haven't forgot about you, been a busy summer. Thanks for the link.

AztcFireFlower- Thank you, I'm sure you'll blow me out of the water.

A couple quick ones, they still feel wip but there you go. The first is an update, the second is new. Try to get denser on these in certain areas.
anyone know how I ended up with 50 pages??

I really like the second to last painting. It has a nice atmosphere, the band of colours in the middle works really well to add interest and the characters look really natural and are quite intriguing.

Hey, good to see you're back in action! These new guaches look great, love the second one. I like how general you've left stuff like the people in the middle. Very cool. Good work on both.
And the 50 pages comes from them having just switched the total number of replies on each page from 60 to 30, effectively doubling everyone's page count.

Unfortunately I only got to look at a few of your earlier pages and a few of your later and very few of the in between.

My comment is just going to be that you have a very beautiful simplistic style that really brings out whatever it is that you are portraying. Your gestures are stylistic and have great perspective. I don't know if you use watercolour but it sure looks nice. Anyways, I like your work and I'll be back . see ya round

oh man - last one is great! love the yellow and blueish green and the composition is with the head cut off like that makes it feel really close/intimate. great series.

Sweet dude, those little B&W's on the last page are really boss, great little studies. This one of the bathroom is spot on. The cityscape guaches are really nice too, love the compositions. I like that they're very finished looking, but I'd also like to see a bit more of the looseness you bring to your oil landscapes.
Good to see that you're chuggin along again!
