Don's probably too modest to plug this book himself, so I'm going to do it for him.
Many people have enjoyed Don Seegmiller's Painter book, but what about the poor Photoshop users? What are they to do?
Well, by popular request, Don has released a new version of his book specifically geared toward the Photoshop user.
Don has figured out how to BLEND in Photoshop, and written how to do it in this book. No, it's not with the smudge tool! No, it's not what you think!
Hopefully, this info will tease you enough that you will go out and buy the book.
And even if you already own the Painter book, you might want to take a look anyway. Don's done a lot of new artwork for the Photoshop version.
So, go take a look! www.amazon.com
(praying that Don forgives me )
Hmm...looks tasty. On the off chance Don swings by this thread, I wonder if he can address the question of how much of this book is geared specifically towards PS-CS and how much of it is readily applicable to PS-7?

Thanks for the heads up Emily!
I enjoyed the painter book, but I don't haev the moeny to drop on the same book geared for photoshop...
I worked with Don while he was putting this book together. (The man is amazing!, not that y'all don't already know that.)
I believe he is using CS at home, correct me if I'm wrong Don?
Still, seeing as there's little difference with the painting tools between PS 7 and PS CS, I don't see why one with PS 7 couldn't do what's taught in Don's book.
So here I am pluggin' the book too! Nice to see... you're um... type Emily!
I may start frequenting these boards a little more regularly.
Reminds me, I still need to go pick that up!
Hey, Nate. What's up?
Nice to see you around here.
