I struggle on certain aspects of art, and have recently discovered the references forum on these boards, and it is providing very useful. I'm thinking of using an old sketchbook which hasn't been used yet, and filling it with the most useful references from the forum, which I will be printing out. Hopefully this should be an easier way to improve my artwork, and save me from coming to the boards frequently to see more references.
Does anyone else do this? And would you say it's a good idea?

Make folders on your harddrive and save loads of pictures to it. My ref folder currently has over 2700 pictures, and it's still growing .
And it's also useful to cut out pictures of magazines and stuff and paste them in notebooks or so. Whatever you like best. And of course you can always print them out and paste them somewhere .
