I'm experiencing this problem when using Corel Painter's pen tool on multiple layers:
As you can see in the screenshot, the top three blobs is where I paint on "Layer 1" whereas the bottom three blob is where I paint on the "Canvas" layer (the default layer).
The default layer also is filled with the dark brown colour.
If I paint on a single layer, everything's fine but I work on multi-layers as it gives me more flexibility (coming from Photoshop background).
Anyone know why I see these ugly banding ?
I was hoping to be able to paint on separate layers and have the colour appear properly like in the bottom three blobs in the above screenshot.
It seems to affect a number of the other tools like the airbrush tool too, and the effect is more prominent when I apply a soft pressure during my brush stroke.
