Hey buddy! What's going on!
Nice stuff you have here. It's good that you start a sketchbook here. If you keep it up everday, you will get better fast.
I really love that angel, it's great!
Keep them coming.
PS: I am not really good at giving feedback because I don't really know where to start and I believe each artist has different approach and different goal. (Unless they specifically ask for on any particular things.) So...
Anyway, keep studying figure and work you butts off. You will be good in no time. :firedevil
Have fun sketching man!
I was pretty happy with the angel too...I drew it right after spending a good 45 minutes looking through William Bougereau's work on the artrenewal site....he's got some absolutely gorgeous stuff.
And no worries on the feedback...I'm sure that the more I do the easier it'll be for people to know better what I should work on...until then I'll do like you said and keep walking my own artistic path!
The encouragement is much appreciated
I just did some OCing with SiNE and Bizarre, here's what I contributed to the session:
some more stuff from today, and one I kinda liked of some dudes that I did a while back.
Thanks for looking!
woohoo! got me a new scanner today! so here's some mildly old stuffs...but that I still felt worthy of scanning up.
I should have more new stuff later tonight....maybe some OC stuffs.
a 'The Darkness' pinup...just a link since it's been uploaded on the Top Cow message boards...though I think y'all will like it...
A first attempt at watercolours in my sketchbook
nice signature quote...and its too true...keep drawing man. you have a good start so keep pushing yourself and only good things will come of it. if your not drawing at least 4 hrs or more a day i highly suggest doing it.
Thanks Crunch I'll keep workin'!
quick oc that I did with Alti
Yay for a 20 minute SP with ballpoint pen...
sorry for the late reply......network keeps crashing on me these past few days....
anyhow, 2 pages from my sketchbook.
thanks for looking!
The recent lack of an update was due to technical problems....that probably aren't resolved yet....they just seem to be taking a break from being annoying, lol.
Here's stuff from a quick OC I did with CartoonFox:
Non Digital update:
Random Sketching of my bro, my cousin and my sister's dog:
here's some OC I just did with SiNE:
Bizarre was playin' guitar for us on OC, this is what came to me...
And a random girl...pleased with the colouring....not so pleased with the face, but meh, I still have lots to learn about drawing faces, so I have a good excuse! lol
thanks for looking everyone!
oh, um... the guy with the guitar is supposed to be me... i guess.
'cept i have no hair. well, i do occasionally wear wigs. and walk around with my hand down my pants...
note to viewers of the thread....while I was drawing the pic of Bizarre, I completely forgot that he's the former singer dude from the Norwegian band Aqua, Rene!
so umm, I might do a new one of him one day with his Mr. Clean-Shiny head, and a bunch of girly stuff.
ok, a REAL portrait of Bizarre:
Sorry, forgot to post the reference, lol.

Self-improvement is masturbation, Self-destruction on the other hand....
went biking yesterday down to the river...sketched the hall owned by the rod & gun club.
did some more, but haven't scanned 'em yet. Just got back from seeing Nazareth play at the arena here for our city's 50th anniversary.
A lot of events going on these past few days, so there'll be lots to inspire new stuff. A lot of hot chickies at the Nazareth concert....and a lot of really old ones too, lol. 's all good.
thanks for looking,
sorry for the lack of updates these past few days.....here's an SP I just did.
